Maybe you were using a bladed melee weapon and now you're not?

I thought about the bladed weapon thing, but its a bigger difference than that. Like she takes 7-10 melee hits to kill one leg.

Gaige's melee sucks on the Crystaliks. Everyone else still 1 hits each leg.

Find it kinda funny that Gaige's melee sucks, since her robotic arm (the one she melee's with) can 'apparently' smash through concrete (random idle chatter reveals this)

I don't understand the logic of making her weaker melee wise. Everyone else is equal as far as I can tell. Oh well. Guess I'll just avoid them.

Yeah, with Gaige's robot arm, she should be a hard hitter, especially since she's also swinging a hammer (which would be the best choice out of all the characters for breaking crystals, anyway).

There is talents that increase her melee and Deathtrap's melee. I'm sure if you get them she will be one shooting legs as well. That might be why she is weaker cause of the talents (there is like 3 I think that boost melee).

I agree with TC, for me it's not so much the difficulty or anything like that down there. it's just the mass amounts of insectoids down there. I have a flame shield that does 1538 spike damage so hitting me with a melee attack is pretty much a game ender for insects, but it's just that I don't like going to an objective and having to deal with hell's army blocking my every which way and only giving double digits XP.

i rather fight a bunch of insectoids and crystalisk than the rats. especially that one rat that awnts to get close to you to steal your money. most of the time i don't notice one till i hear them say "thanks brother" >.<
