okay, So I am a level 25. I lost a few levels. Long story short, I just gave claptrap that upload we went through the force field and by god it is hard as crap. lol I am getting killed instantly and a lot of these dudes are near my level. some 27s but really. I can't believe how hard it is too invade this hypiron place. Other Hyprion places were not as hard I had to keep using my 5k damage RPG, I know that sounds like nothing compared to you guys that bunk bunker all day but I am not up to him yet because people tell me I should farm bunker until I am at least a 45.

I am trying to figure out what else I can do to level up. I did most of the side quests in Sanc. I am getting to the point of....not really boredom but lack of motivation to beat the game's main quest. I am not much of a grinder either, but I need to know a good place to start for level 25 guy. btw . I am zer0 and I don't have that many skills. I think I picked the wrong Tree because he still kinda sucks. lol

I see people with like 50k like handguns yeah I know that is at level 50 but still haha, and I feel like a complete pee-on bragging about my 5k rpg. lol

If you messed up your skills, you can reset them on the quick customization machine. It's pretty cheap and there's no reason not to do it.

As for levelling, you might want to complete any sidequests you still haven't (Sanctuary isn't the only place to get quests. NPCs in other maps give them too) or farm some bosses. Farming bosses is also going to give you equips, which is also going to happen.

Also, if you never tipped Moxxi before, do so now. Moxxi's Bad Touch would really help you at this point.

the higher lvl dmg weapons will come...when you get to a higher level.

the problem is that you're zero and a lot of the enemies in that place are loaders...zero doesn't exactly have the best time with all the rampant AoE. you need a good corrosive weapon to really dent them.

also, unless you're on playthrouhg 2, you don't need to be 45 to move on dude.

Nope this is my first playthrough but I beat boadlerlands 1 no problem. I think I made it to like a 38 or something but I didn't grind in that game either. Maybe it is more RPGish now in this game? I am not sure because I felt that some guys that were like 1 or 2 levels higher than you in the last game you were totoally screwed in this game you have more of a chance. And what is this moxxi bad touch thing I keep hearing about? I gave her pictures and she gave me a sweet shotgun that helped a lot at like level 15 and it actually still does damage at level 23-24 guys just not so much 25 or 26 guys.

If you tip her enough, she'll give you one of her two custom SMGs: Bad Touch and Good Touch. The Bad Touch is corrosive, the Good Touch is fire and both heal you according to their elemental DoT. You can tip her $100 because apparently the number of tips matter more than the value.

The damage of weapons in playthrough 2 ramp up their damage as the level goes up MUCH faster than during playthrough 1. I think people typically finish playthrough 1 at around the low 30's, so I'd say maybe you're a bit underlevelled seeing as you're close to the end of the game.

Most definitely, go back and do sidequests that you have missed. They offer valuable exp not only through rewards but also because many of them require that you go to areas that you perhaps have never even visited because the location is not mandatory for story quests. You'll often have the chance/be forced to trek through areas killing everything in front of you, thereby giving you your much needed exp.

A few levels can give you access to some very valuable skills which can make it much easier to do a little bit of farming. And I use the term farming in a very casual manner too. Certainly you can do some hardcore farming in Borderlands 2, but by no means is it required. My favourite in playthrough 1 was Dukino's mom. Very tough fight the first few times, especially when you don't know her attack patterns and/or don't have a good corrosive weapon, but very easy once you do get used to the patterns. The fight gives very good loot: almost always at least one purple (iirc, the drops are just under level 30), and it even gives good exp. You can spend hours killing her, grabbing the drops, quitting and saving, then doing it all over again, or you can do it just a few times. It's all up to you.

Sidequests. Do the sidequests. (Dukino's mom is a sidequest). Bosses are probably the most reliable source of good loot in the game until you get to playthrough 2 and the Eridium Blight.

That's in Lynchwood, where you'd get murdered if you're having trouble in the bunker.

I had some problems in the bunker until I got a very accurate corrosive weapon, easy to get the loaders down then. Just aim for the arm joins and you disarm them + crit them. If they survive that just aim for the other crit points and stay back.

Getting a accurate (relativly) shotgun helps too, specially if it's corrosive.
Just don't go in guns blazing and you should do fine.

It's because he's a casual. Don't bother guys. He'll never be good enough. Only hardcore players like me can overcome such adversity in VIDEO GAMES. My hand-eye coordination is unmatched and I am truly an elite athlete. Trying to explain how to get through something too hard for a guy like the OP (a clear casual) is like trying to teach an old dog new tricks

Seriously though...just go do some side missions. Unless you REALLY want a challenge you don't have to rush through the main quest just so you can get scaling enemies like in B1. This game is harder than B1 even if you are a little above level IMO.

why would I want your loot from something you can't even kill yourself?

just make a online game and leave it open.

besides, playing alone you are restricting your own drop rate to almost nothing.

Drop rate is the same, regardless of the number of players. Loot is better on coop simply because you fight more enemies and you fight more badasses on coop.

are you positive boss drop rate quality is not increased?
you have any officially released evidence to back this up?

No "official" information, but that's what test results from practically all players point to.

If it's your 1st playthrough, I highly suggest you do all the sidequest missions but saved them on playthrough 2 so that you get extra xp.

Zero takes a bit of levels to shine particularly around level 30+ Use a sniper rifle and sit at the terrace (where a yellow hyperian chest is located) and snipe the bunker at it's crit spots (the eye) and also its guns. Keep a corrosive smg or shotgun or any corrosive weapon for bots. For bots, you can snipe their joints and eye for crits. Melee-ing them in deception is a bit difficult to finish them off since their crit spots are not like the bandits. You can if you damage then a bit before melee-deception them. Remember the more you wait till the deception is nearly end before firing a shot or melee, the more damage you do. And you can always use your deception to run away and hide to recover shield when need to be too.

You might also try sniper spec, and the slow/patient approach. It does take a while, admittedly, but I got my Zer0 through that last area mostly through stealth sniping (silences the shot), and rarely did anything even return fire. If you have a good rifle, you can one shot many of the loaders that appear, excepting the war/badass ones, and constructors, since stealth gives the damage bonus.

    **Spoilers ahead**

The lead-in to the final fight was a bit annoying with him as well (because of Jack's stupid clones) but a pistol and shotgun combo evened things up there. Against the warrior, liberal use of stealth/snipe tactics made short work of him on the first playthrough. Haven't tried it yet in True Hunter mode with Zer0 though. As for the areas heading up to that fight, it's the same as the last big mission: lots of loaders to snipe, but the rifle will make short work of them if you use stealth effectively.
