1 Like love comments i've heard since the original about how hard/unforgiving/generally difficult to digest/flawed borderlands was...where do you start with that?! if you're a blind 5 yr old with the IQ of a root vegetable, stick to your COD.
Borderlands was a very rare thing...a fun & addictive FPS. This looks massively cranked up from the original and i'm pretty sure is gonna be head and shoulders above any other game due this year when it comes to pure, addictive, compulsive gameplay and style. halo4, darksiders2, farcry3, transformers are all going to be f'ing great but if there had to be but 1 day 1 purchase its this...by a mile...by the time i'm done with b'lands2 the fore-mentioned will probably be in the £10 bargain bin...which is nice ;)

1 Like awesome they made it harder! me and my friend played the living crap out of borderlands and barely even had trouble on the third play through... well except for crawmerex. who weve beating 7 times and still havnt gotten any pearlescent guns -_-
Borderlands 2 I cant wait, already from what ive seen it looks a great improvement on the first one which was a awesome game I hope they can keep this up for games to come id love this to be a long going franchise

@tehtimeisnow Dude, the 'cartoony' graphics was an artistic decision and intentional. A lot of Borderland fans like it because it fits what the game is all about. Call of duty is fun too, but Borderlands has its own unique stlye that is far from 'kiddie'. I would hate the game it was for kids.

@Scottisme Well there are different gun manufacturers, and for the Tediore brand guns you just throw them as grenades instead of reloading. The more ammo in your clip when reload/throw, the more damage it does.
If this game did not get 3rd person shooter , It will defiantly Fail as much as fail has means or the absolute Failllllllll , so I wish 2K games do not fail me please (I got bored from FPS games ) so, 2k games should support the both system , i am right guys?
@essam24 If you would have played the previous one you would know that it works well in first person. If it was in third person it would suck.
@shenron43 Yes I played previous one, with 3rdPS and it was great. so u liked FPS way , its Your choice , but I like 3rdPS and this is my Choice . xD

@essam24 Games typically do not use both systems. This game is a first person shooter. It always has been, and will most likely always be a first person shooter. That's just the kind of game it is. I can't think of a single game that allows you to switch viewing methods on the fly. That just wouldn't make sense. Also, why should 2K change their viewing method just for you?
Did anyone notice how much damage Axton's assault rifle did? 709!!!! And he's only level 25!!!!!!
I'll pick it up later. Definitely looks great though.
I know that they've finally actually got off their asses and made it PC friendly, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they've optimised it performance wise.

14 Like Probably the most anticipated game for me this year. I too hope the skill system and character builds will be deeper.
1 Like I like the first one but, the power of the characters was very poor, too simple. I hope we can combine the power with the partners, to be more cooperative, because in borderland the coop was just you and your friends shooting things, there wasn?t any kind of interaction or combine possibility to weapons or powers with the other players.
I was very disappointed playing with Brick for example, going berserker and realize that the only thing the power do was punch the air. I imagined I will be able to through the enemies in the air or I don?t know, kick them and blast them in the floor. But Brick only repeatedly punch and that was all.
@knorror09 True, you couldn't combine abilities, but teamwork was still very important and that provided enough "combining" to make the game fun. Brick is a good tank for drawing fire, for example, and Roland can heal while Lilith and Mordecai dazed and softened enemies.
@knorror09 that would be awesome for them to do co-op ability's ! and brick was very interesting was very boring to play with
