1 Like Looks like massive production but waaay waaay too far to be an "attractive" game. Graphics has a style but it's just exhausting my eyes. Totally makes no sense to a gamer like me.
this game is the every man game. That means EVERY MAN GET IT! And having WO in front of MAN is complete inclusion!

I was a little put off by the design of the first too. I gave it a try anyways and was very glad I did. It is something you get over very quickly and will start to enjoy.
1 Like for those of you who might be put off by the graphical design. don't be. this game IS as good as it looks, just like the original was, and I have no doubt in my mind, that just like the original borderlands, once you get into the game the come to appreciate the graphical design. the only thing thats cheez and crappy about the original borderlands was the humour, I just remember finding it more embarassing then funny, but I have no doubt they've stepped that up for this game.
it WILL be worth buying. regardless of which platform you have.

awesome. I'm taking 3 days off work for this game.. finally I can clean the dust off of my xbox.
now this is a true game, all fun and adventure and bad assedness lol! my buddies and i and some new friends i have made on the third time thru borderlands 1 are going to have a blast. and yes it looks easy dude, LOOKS. this game is very accessible but don't be fooled, make the wrong choices with your inventory or play style, and u will be digesting in the belly of one or more beasts in this game..... i for 1 cant wait for the challenge!
I looked on Steam today and it says that the Mechromancer DLC will be available on October 16. Free to those who have pre-ordered, $10 for those who have not.
I dont know what all the fuss is about i wont be buying this anytime soon i mean whats it go lots of guns kill lots of funny looking guys, Boss fights, team up with your friends,tons of quest's,.............

@buccomatic I think another issue, excluding the views already expressed, is that it would be horribly overpowered at times. I also think you'd have to account for different behavior as in your example if it had a low fire rate it meant in Borderlands 1 that the bullet damage was higher therefore larger ammunition. If you then made this larger ammunition fire at this fast rate it might make the gun uncontrollable due to recoil. Just my view on it. Better just keep searching for that better weapon in the "18 bazillion guns". :) Sorry, have to add this...

1 Like @buccomatic They stated they werent going to do that when they were making the first borderlands for the reasons the guy below me already said, isnt that the best part finding new and crazy guns you can use? Anyways the first Borderlands had over 17 million guns...i wonder how many this one might have hmmm. Besides the guns come from a handful of manufactures so crossing manufacture lines would take a lot of individuality from them.
@buccomatic 87 BAZILLION GUNS...but you want to use just one the entire game. Another possible problem with your idea is that all these guns look different and come in different sizes, but you want them to all have replaceable parts. If this game has any basis in aesthetic reality then that would mean they would all look the same and what fun would that be.
2 Like the reason they didnt do that is cause there are so many randomly generated guns that it kinda takes out the purpose of going out to find new great guns when you can just make a much better one on its own. thats the devolpers explantion idk which interview though
