Best character for solo play?

I agree with x_adam. If you like to go in and get your hands dirty, then a berserker is a good choice, but make sure to focus on his tank skills. They help quite a bit. If you're more of a hit and run kind of person then Lillith is your choice. You can stick around and deal some damage, and then if you're having some difficulties, you can just use her phasewalk ability to run and do some additional damage. If you like to do a bit of your own dirty work but would like some additional help every once in a while then pick a soldier. Soldiers have the scorpio turret ability, which places out a turret that will draw enemy fire and do damage, while also giving you an advantage while you shoot at their backs. Last but not least is mordecai. Hes alot like the soldier. He uses his bird to deal some pretty harsh damage while he sits in the back and snipes off anyone that doesnt die instantly. of course you can use any weapon u want but he specializes in sniper rifles. and dont forget that any of these characters' skills can b modified with an artifact, which comes in handy when fighting enemies with different elemental weaknesses.
