Roland is really nice, since he has a turret to deploy that's much like second person playing, so it's a little easier.

Brick would probably be the hardest if you're playing solo.

Mordecai is probably medium-hard since he's mostly sniping.

Lilith.. I guess she would be kind of easy, but I don't think you'll get much done when you're phase-walking away from a mob and then having to take em out again.

So, probably Roland. I actually started playing him from level 1 today and hit level 19. So it's not too bad.

Brick isnt hard to use at all... His special power makes you nearly invincible for like a minute and you can attack like a beast. But I do agree that Roland is the easiest...btw I got to 21 in about 8 hours with Brick.

Well I have been playing as mordecai, and in about three hours i hit level 8. I mostly use bloodwing and his sniper rifle, which seems to allow me to gain more xp. Especially do all the special things in missions they ask you to do...it gives your more xp...i think.

Hunter he have a skill that give you 3% XP bonus

Lilith has an XP boosting skill under her "Elemental" path. The Hunter might also have one. Take one of these to earn more XP than normal, and level up faster.
