I was curious about this game when it first came out last year and was really keen with its free "video" download on the PSN. When Playstation gave a 50% discount on it and several others a couple of months ago, this was one of my $4.99 purchases and I must say I don't regret buying the title.

Who wouldn't want a first-person lone shooter with Zombies involved? The title intrigued me and playing with it is pure unadulterated joy. It is not that easy to fulfill the killing spree though. One has to go through several Tutorial stages before you fully get the mastery of killing a site-ful of Zombies (due to the fact that it is heavily laden with weapons and killing techniques)...and I just finished Stage 4 earlier this morning. I must say that even if playing with it physically tires you, it only teases you into coming back for more...after taking a much deserved rest i.e.

It is both exhilarating and rewarding. This is my first FPS game on the PS3 console and it feels like a long-awaited update on arcade games of the past (I'm thinking of the 8-bit Berserk game on the PC). Burn Zombie Burn is altogether comical, creepy and bloody. It brings out the primal in you. Don't say I didn't warn you on how good it feels ;^)
