This game looks good;it's been ages since I played a good rail shooter.Should be good with friends. STOP CREATING A SCENE ALL YOU ANIMAL LOVER,IT'S NOT REAL! People did the same with the Taliban issue in MoH,it's stupid people let themselves get all worked up about things that won't affect what happens in real life.
wait is that an hunting game or just a shooter because im not sure anymore... anyway that looks lame better just buy a regular shooter...
I would like to see chunks of animal and blood squirting out as you shoot the beasts. All you see is the quick flash of gun powder...
Screens gave me hope, but this is just a rail shooter than? Too bad. About the animal killing thingy. I don't see anything wrong. There are games were people go after other people killing them in the most gruesome ways. Sorry but I do not believe animals to be more important than humans. In the end it's still a game, the number of animals will not decrease because of this game. If anything, hunters might pick up this game and have less time spent hunting (which is stupid, but just as stupid as the opposite : the game would make people hunt more). What about game where you can kill innocent rabbits? Isn't an innocent rabbit more pitiful then a wild animal charging to kill you? Anyway, people should learn the difference between a game and real life.
Everyone just needs to go out and club a few baby harp seals. You'll feel better about things. This game is trash.
@DeeMo-nay We have been killing animals since before we have been killing eachother..so ur argument there holds no weight..but really i think u said it best..."So what" so what if this game is about killing animals....Hell in the "sims" u can lock ur sims in a room and watch them slowly die..i mean every game pushes boundaries, this in comparison to pretty much half of the games out right now is childs-play.. Also i dont really get ur logic on "Sure, GTA and others glorify crime, so what? Humans have been doing some pretty nefarious things to each other since we have been around to do it." so since humans have been doing it that makes it ok..so really ur saying that its ok for games like "An Abortion Clinic Shooter" ok b.c well hey "so what" humans have been doing it for years!" you just sound a little hypocritical to me..
@DeeMo-Nay You probably have been. I only started gaming in '94 when I got my first computer when I was 4. Would have totally started sooner if I could have. :P
Anyway, I'm not going to start a big fuss about this. You have your opinion, I have mine. I just don't think there's anything wrong with this being a game. It's at least better than going out and doing the real thing, at least as far as hunting endangered animals. I've never done it myself, but I have no problem with regular hunting as long as it's for food and not sport.
Watching this again, I'd think if anything it would keep people from wanting to hunt some of these things. That rhino looks pissed and scary
@RadicalToenail - Man, I've been gaming since Doom was freeware. I've seen it all and played it all; I may have even been gaming longer than you have been alive. :) My point it that this game is seriously irresponsible. Sure, GTA and others glorify crime, so what? Humans have been doing some pretty nefarious things to each other since we have been around to do it. This game just shows there is no limit to the things they will produce - the message is dangerous. What's next? "An Abortion Clinic Shooter"??? Even better...Duke goes fat stripper hunting! And if that one doesn't do it for you, then how about "Slavemaster"...goodness...some games should never get released...this one is one.
@DeeMo-Nay Haha, you're a funny guy, you know that?
But seriously, if you argue against this then you might as well argue that games like Grand Theft Auto are horrible because it allows you to kill innocent people. In real life, going around killing a lot of people or endangered animals is wrong, but these are just games. And obviously these animals are far from innocent, with their over-exaggerated features (claws, fangs, etc) and pumped-up aggression. It's not even a simulator anymore. Why complain about it being cruel? Do you think someone is going to play this and then head out to hunt some lions?
If you've got an issue with video games pushing some limits then you might as well stop gaming.
But it is disappointing the direction they've decided to take this...CURSE YOU KOTICK!
This game is irresponsible and disgusting. I am not a cheerleader for PETA or anything, but I cannot tolerate a game that depicts the slaughter of (ostensibly) endangered animals. Cabellas should be ashamed at this, and they will not longer get my business. I am most certain that every Walmart redneck is gonna love this one, but there simply is no reason that a game like this should have been released. Too much controversy.
