Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition, although old, is still a great FPS game for the Wii.

The Bottom Line:
"Highly addictive"
The Wii is notorious for not having good FPS games or messing them up. However, Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition was definitely a step in the right direction. Infinity Ward's hit shooter on the Wii livens up the Nintendo experience and provides an engaging story and fun (albeit slightly difficult due to the controls) multiplayer experience.

Gameplay consists of the usually FPS brand, however the controls are a bit clunky and hard to get used to. Once you finally get accustomed to them they are decent. It's a shame that compatibility with the classic control wasn't included, but what can you do. The storyline is great (*spoiler alert*) and deals with a close future scenario of Arabic terrorists and Russian Ultra-nationalists. It's surprisingly compelling and gets you into the action, rushing to save your informant or staring in disbelief as a nuclear explosion engulfs an Arabic city. My main complaint is that the AI is idiotic with grenades, throwing them every other second. 75+% of your deaths will be from randomly thrown grenades.

The graphics are decent - not the best, but it's an old game and the Wii isn't famous for having good graphics, especially with the apparent lack of HD support. In general, everything looks pretty good. The guns are realistic and the vehicles are just downright cool (especially the aircraft). However, the characters are just a bit clunky and the landscape visuals are questionable.

The audio in this game is great. Original voice acting for the characters, including radio to radio transmissions and in-between mission cinematics, are quite in depth and give each character a unique feel. Players will get irritated with Kamarov and chuckle at Gaz's comments. The music isn't really audible over the (realistic) gunfire and shouting, but the orchestral feel of what you can hear is decent.

This game (at least on the other consoles) set the stage for FPS multiplayer games. Thankfully, there's still a decent amount of people on the Wii multiplayer (sporting trollish names and epic skills, of course). The odd aiming controls on the Wii control and nun-chuck can make it difficult to finish off your target and rack up kills, but it's still great fun.

The replayability value of the single player campaign is questionable, although an "arcade mode" and 4 different difficulty levels were thrown in, it may not be fun after your second or third time through the game, especially if you do it on higher difficulties. However, the multiplayer can be played over and over and over again.

The bad parts of this game are thankfully, not too numerous. The single player campaign is undoubtedly too short for a single game, leaving more to be desired, although it ended really well (but sadly - Griff got overkilled *spoiler*). The controls are slightly difficulty, and the AI uses too many grenades, making the game that much harder. The music can also be inaudible from time to time, but good and frequent voice acting make up for this.

All in all, this is a good game and I recommend that you purchase it; especially if you're looking into getting into FPS gaming on your Wii or just want a good nostalgic game or some simple multiplayer. Probably a 9 out of 10.

Took some time to make another Hellsing playercard emblem for the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops, in this tutorial I show you how you can create AlucarD, as always you must unlock all 12 layers first and buy all the neccessary stencils first.
