I realized I sprint way too much, even on non-rush class setups. I'm sure it costs me firefights here and there. I really need to play more defensively.

What bad habits do you have?

    actually aiming and not spraying....

also I reload way too much

I reload too often, and it always ends up being at the wrong time.

In kill confirmed, I kill one person, then the second, then run for tags forgetting that rats always stick together, and get shot by two more idiots coming out of their holes.

I sprint a lot. Also, in a gunfight I stop shooting because I think the guy is dead but he isn't.

Everyone will say reloading too much, even though it probably helps you more than hindering you in the long run (the amount of times you need that whole clip it's worth that reload)

    Anyway mine are

Running out into an open area to chase a guy or to grab a tag and getting shot by that inevitable camper guy watching the area.

Not switching up my route often enough when playing SnD.

Losing concentration when I get a Lightning Strike and getting killed before getting a higher streak.

Playing conservative when getting near a high killstreak, which I am not good at and results in my death often.

Charging into a location where I know there are camper(s) when a concussion or just a more careful approach would be better.

And although this may not be my fault, I ALWAYS seem to run into a group of guys running together. I can sometimes take one or two down but I usually die quick.

If I get a kill, but I got really damaged from the gunfight, I just keep on moving instead of taking cover for a second to regenerate my health. Then I proceed to get OHK'd lol.

reloading when I still have ammo to kill additional enemies.

    another one:

noticing a camper and expecting my team mates to be good enough to win a gunfight with the guy or his teammates to actually get to him.

i mean...i dont win every gun fight..but these dudes arent even pulling the trigger half the time.

Going against an Assault Shield user and not moving away when he hits me the first time. Made worse by the fact I use the Shield constantly.

Always make the mistake of using ADS rather than spraying. But that's force of habit because i'm going for camo unlocks.

When with my knife only class, charging at an enemy that is clearly looking at me. I don't even know why I do it, because I know i'm going to just get shot. Maybe I subconsciously hope that the enemy will go "OH MY GOD, THAT CRAZY UNARMED GUY IS RUNNING RIGHT AT ME!! RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!".

I reload too much and I stop shooting a lot when I expect the enemy to die. I risk everything for tags in KC.

Reloading, running in like a n00b.

I'll never stop running in though.

    Heh, my first though too.

I also echo the reloading thing. While I agree with Weiland that it's always nice to enter an engagement with a full mag, I am a chronic reloader. If I kill a guy and there isn't someone in the immediate area, I hit reload. Of course, people run together which means I constantly get caught with my pants down so-to-speak.

Sniping. It's gotten to the point where I'm not having as much fun while sniping, but once I use an SMG or AR, I'm screwed because im stuck in that QS mentality.
