Does FMJ penetrate dead players?

Okay, who here uses FMJ?

I been getting into a so many 1v3 gunfights and losing because my bullets don't penetrate people, dead or alive. This is without using FMJ.

I see a group of 3 guys and kill the first guy. His body is still standing but he is blocking the 2nd and 3rd guy. So I try to shoot through the dead guy but it does not penetrate him. I see ZERO hit markers and I get killed.

My questions is can you shoot through dead people w/ FMJ on? In all of the other COD games you can shoot through dead people like they are not even there w/o using FMJ.

Meat bags are one the hardest things for a bullet to penetrate effectively, so I guess not.

It goes through dead body, i had it happen on hijacked. Shot through a dead body + a wall and got 2 kill

On Raid near the rock garden in the middle. In the corner of the walkway. There were 3 guys running towards me and we all meet face to face.

I shoot and I kill the first guy, but his dead body is still standing and blocking the other two guys as I empty my magazine into them. I'm using a MTAR and it and no hit markers at all. I was shooting directly into them. I run out of ammo in the mag and them I get shot by one of them.

Even in BO1 you could shoot through dead players. Apparently not in BO2.

I'm wondering if this happened to anyone else.

This is not true, they do go through bodies. Dead bodies are held client side after plr_death animtree is passed to ragdolls.

I got a one bullet double kill with the sniper rifle. (DSR 50?) with no FMJ. It was my luck that another guy was standing right behind my target.

I hate throwing Combat Axes and hitting a dead guy right in front of another dude.

I have him lined up, throw it, he dies... Cool. Let me Combat Axe go through dead people!

Seriously though, happens all the time in Sticks and Stones.
