They start seriously camping too to get the Scorestreak.
Scorestreaks do not promote camping.
I'm not saying they camp the whole match. I'm saying that I notice some will start getting campy to not risk getting killed if they're getting close to a high Scorestreak.

Yeah, same idea as the noobs that camp to eke out their UAVs and RCXDs. It's still camping to squeeze out a scorestreak. Even if the aforementioned noobs necessarily end up having to do it the entire match.

Ha ha. No kidding - I'm on your side, by the way (it was a sarcastic remark to bring out Cubfan's best side again). He knows; he knows.

Your definition of camping - the wrong definition - is not inclusive enough. It doesn't have to happen all game to still be camping.
Since you cannot cite that from dictionary.com or the CoD wiki you have no basis to make such claim...
...by contrast, you seem to be unable to separate playing a little more conservatively for 5% of the match compared to 95% aggression as being on the same plane as camping. Those arguments hold about as much water as bucket with 95 holes in the bottom.
Right, I forgot that only your claims don't require substantiation.
"Playing conservatively" is a convenient euphemism. In a well-developed "arcade-style" shooter, playing conservatively would be wasting quarters.
playing conservatively at critical moments is a wise investment in your avatars life, not a waste of it...
BECAUSE? It will allow you to get that scorestreak for which you've been "playing conservatively".
BECAUSE lag and lag comp varies between player to player, thus the head start you get on one player while rushing may or may not be mitigated by the headstart another player has on you, and if you are 50 points from a swarm falling back to pick the way you make your next engagement is not akin to camping the entire match prone with a target finder just trying to find a way to call in a single UAV...

...Masheen, please provide proper definition to describe the inherent hypocrisy in all of this.
nOObs camp.
Pros Rush
Rushers complain about nOOb campers killing them
...but only nOObs are killed by campers consistently, especially if a camper never moves...
So what does that make the rushers who compain about nOObs camping and killing them as they play?
...infact they are the true nOObs for being so reckless with the life of their avatar by allowing a "nOOB" to streak them.
If you want everyone to run around and shoot each other why have cover? Put everyone on the same plane with nothing but line of sight between them and say duke it out if that is the game you want. Which brings me back to saying if you are going to compain about such a basic things as allowing a "camper" to out play you, you need to find a different game until you can use a thumb instead of a finger...
When I am close to a high streak I spam EMP nades out infront of Romper. You know why? Cause it is usually good for an easy 100 to 150 points. I am sure you will call that cheap, but in reality it is simply a smart play to make the most of what you bring into the lobby. And again, if you have a problem with that you are simply playing the wrong game.

I never thought I would die like this, but I always hoped... - Feb 1, 2013 10:37 am GMTI typically mute people unless they're in a clan; in which case I find delight in their whining. I almost always run suppressor, but that's mostly because I play the objective and don't feel like running in the middle while people are already looking down their target finders.
Although, sometimes after I've killed somebody and I'm near a high scorestreak and we don't have a UAV of sorts, I'll camp until I see them run past me or see their name on the kill feed so I know they're not gunning for me... pun intended.

You keep trying to make this delineation between camping for a UAV versus camping while your dogs get you the points for a Swarm. There's no difference, silly, and scorestreaks promote camping in both situations. If you didn't care about the scorestreak (or it wasn't there to be earned), you would probably go out there and "play aggressively" to get another kill quickly or defend a flag or whatever. If a noob didn't care about getting rewarded by camping (in which the scorestreak is the reward - even a UAV!), he might try running around more and sharpening his overall ability to move, learn the maps, and aim.
Everytime you try to show scorestreaks don't promote camping, you bring up a situation in which they promote camping. Keep at it, it will work one of these times.

actually I do nothing of the sort, because the situations are no where near equivalent. A rational descison to dial it back and take what the game gives you at a critical moment is not the same as never being willing to move out of a corner the entire match.
you consider camping an absolute, that never should be a viable response to what the game is dictating. Remembrr that next time you take cover from swarm, escort drone or warthog. If you move inside to avoid death you are a nOOb camper according to your definition, particularly if the player who earned it got it by playing the game by your standards...

The maps are so small, and theres literally a guy round every corner, so if you appear on the radar for like 1 second, you're boned. This isnt MW3 where you can get away with it.

Nintendo Network: VWC621 - Feb 1, 2013 2:25 pm GMTJust played 2 games that exemplified the annoyance.
Scenario:
- Get thrown into a game on Raid
- The entire other team were relatively high prestiges and had " GDO" or "GPO", so they were together
- Swarm is out, VSAT's are up, and the have them for days because of the what the players before me gave them
- I stick it out, cause I generally don't leave
In the lobby they are talking smack specifically to me and one guy starts acting like he was king s*** for going 19-2 and saying specifically to me "if he sticks around, his K/D is gonna plummet! Stay and find out!"
I'm not backing down so I stick around, go 39-7 with highest score-kills-caps-defends, we lost a really hard fought game on Plaza by 3 points, and the guy talking the most garbage pre game rage quits and bails on his team half way through because he is getting smacked.
It's the people in the groups that talk the most trash (and most of the times they are the guys that are higher prestige). It's like the more people they're with the higher their video game machismo gets and the more cop-outs they deliver when they meet their match. I felt like plugging my mic in and saying "Congrats, a full group of 6 could barely beat a group of 6 randoms. You are truly marvelous. BTW, tell your rage quit buddy who is more interested in my K/D than I am to pull out his abacus and see what ratio 39-7 comes out to"
