To be honest, I like the futuristic setting that they are taking this series in the direction of. The only issue I have is not that the unmanned element will be overused, but rather underused. I have a feeling that with all the killstreaks, they are just gonna put an unmanned spin on them. so instead of hearing "harrier airstrike incoming!" you would just hear "UAV airstrike incoming!" or whatever. So people shouldnt complain if the unmanned element is going to ruin it.

I like the Futuristic setting too.People don't like it because they have made so many WW2 COD games and Modern warfare games it think it is time for COD to make a change because i would really like to have HI-TECH stuff.

you know if you think about it its basically like a MW4. Its only set 5 or 6 years after MW3 (MW3 was set in 2018 i believe)

Well, technically the Modern Warfare series was set in the future (2011-2016). This one is just farther into the future.

I think I'll like the game and I think the idea of the unmanned thing is cool, but I'm worried they have removed the one element that caused me to start hating the MW games: I personally hate fighting in urban cities. It just has too much close combat and not enough chances to attack the enemy from multiple directions. I've always loved treyarch's jungle and rural towns but it looks like this game might mark the end of them...

Funny, I was wondering when they would make a modern FPS with a heavy emphasis on the japanese front of WW2 (not i Japan, but in other Asian countries) and a very heavy emphais on the future.

yea there's no way the world will look like that in a mere 13 years. My CAR is 15 years old, in 13 years you are still going to see beaten up civics and beamers that were made this year being droven around and buildings that were standing in this time. A decade or so is not enough time for people to by flying VTOL's everywhere with futuristic buildings, terminator style robots roaming around, and a brink style floating city. At least battlefield had the decency to go over a hundred years into the future before introducing walking tanks and vtol jets.

I'm not too fussed about their accuracy with the time setting etc i'm just glad that their doing something different and mixing it up a bit because the traditional COD formula is just starting to become dull and repetitive. :-/

We already have Quadrotors... I don't see how we would need to travel 100 years into the future to acquire that kind of technology. Walking tanks isn't a big deal. At least they don't run.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
