I'm on the fence because of the low quality maps we got with the game (*cough* carrier *cough* slums) so idk what to expect from the dlc. Do any of you who bought it regret it?

I bought the season pass and I don't really regret it. The only map that I'm indifferent to is Hydro. All others I like a lot. Especially Downhill. I just wish that we could ride the Gondolas. It would've added a lot to the fun factor of the map

They are all good, with grind being my least favorite. They all play different than the core maps which helps break up the monotony.

grind- just flank the whole time with ghost and a scilenced weapon and i have never gotten vsats so fast.... EDIT: Also this map seems built perfectly for the peacekeeper imo. The distances seem just right where it is the most useful

mirage- imo best sniper map in the game (I will probly do nothing but snipe here, maybe lmg every once in a while) my personal favorite since this game was lacking a pure sniper map

downhill-again good for flanking, and also snipe to a degree

hydro- underground gives many flanking options but you can also safely run through the middle of the level too if you are smart. Has 2 spots on either side to shoot long distance but idk if id stay there for long since there are 2 ways to get up on each of them so its hard to cover yourself

Really, Omega? I feel like I haven't got my money's worth... yet. After I got my PeaceKeeper to diamond, I haven't used it much. There's no appeal to the gun other than the fact that it's a DLC gun. It's not a weak gun, it's just eh. The maps are decent. Grind is my favorite so far since it's easy to hold the objectives. Downhill is a good Domination map too. However, anything else and you're asking for a map filled with campers. Mirage is a so-so map. I hate Hydro with the intense amount of camping.

I would rate this DLC 6/10 because of one good map, two decent maps, and DLC gun. Other four points are loss due to Hydro's terrible design and Downhill's camp fest.

i just bought playstation plus for 10 when it was on sale in europe and i got 15 games from it, you paid 15 and got 4 maps. no it isnt worth it.

I guess it depends how much you value $15. If that is a lot of money to you, you will need to like the maps more to feel compensated. If $15 is not that much to you, you will probably like them more.

I look at it as $15 is how much I'd spend on a good lunch, and that lasts 30 minutes and keeps me satisfied for about 4 hours. I've already gotten about 4 hours out of the map pack and I still want to play it more, so for me it is worth it.

Never thought about it like that. In this case, yes it's worth it.

Give this man post of the year.

thats a spoiled logic , you should look up intrensic value. basically the 15 is wasted. espcially compared to other videogame content like playstation plus.

and if you look at the amount of sales , around 2 million of the 30 million cod player buy the dlc thats close to some 100 million $ they will make just from the dlc.

but the dlc cost to create the maps isnt even 1 million.

so thats why its not worth to buy it. basically they just milk their greatest supporters. such a business model will not work in long run.

its not even remotely worth the price, it should be more like $4.99 or 5.99 based on how little you get. but like said before, it depends on how much you value $15, thats not an amount of money that makes a big difference to me so i got it.

the gun is ok, not the best smg, but a decent mid range gun. good fire rate, but really low damage.

the maps are so-so. grind i like alot, the layout is good and its a decent sized map. seems alot of people like it because it gets voted for alot.

downhill flat out sucks, unless you a sniper of headglitcher, because the map is 100% geared toward those styles. huge open areas and pinch points, with nests for snipers in the perfect spot for every one. you cant get into the gondolas, and even though they move at like 1 mph, they kill you instantly if they hit you instead of just pushing you along or maybe knocking you over like they should. its not as bad as carrier or aftermath, but its pretty bad.

hydro is so-so, theres alot of pointless paths that have no use but to create a sniper nest, and the layout and where the water is makes modes like hardpoint a real pain. expect alot of camping on this map. its not terrible, but im always voting random over hydro.

mirage is strange, i havent played it enough to really know how i feel about it. its layout is a circle, with the flags for domination in a triangle with no middle flag. some areas have tons of cover, others have none, and the sand dunes make for interesting routes.

I don't really care for the PeacKeeper. I would've gotten the DLC even if it wasn't introduced but I really feel like I got my money's worth for Revolution. As I said, Hydro is the only map I'm "meh" towards. I don't really like the design of it and it looks kinda ugly...

Mirage - the one that really confuses me because even though it's a small-to medium map, I have yet to find every route possible to an objective. It really is a mirage because of how everything is set up. Weird.

Grind - I'm in a love/hate relationship with this map. It's good for a hard flanking but at the same time it's too small to flank hard especially when this map is catered to SMG's just like Nuketown and Hijacked. I don't really like the small maps. I go for the mid-to-long range maps like Turbine and Carrier. Yes, my most used weapon is the Skorpion but I've left that for the M8 and SMR. Those are becoming my most used weapons and it's kinda hard to use them on the small maps.

Downhill - I LOVE this map. It's good for all ranges. Short, medium, long. Any weapon can be brought here and used to high hell. I love it for Domination because of all the spots one can use to snipe and the routes to flank said snipers. I love going for "B" in this one because both sides are covered enough from being fired upon (if you have someone to cover you that is). Idk, these are my opinions and I'm gonna stick by them.

The season pass was just an extra thing I could've bought with my Tax refund. I already got my "grown up" stuff sorted out so I decided to spoil myself. I deserve it. I honestly can't wait for the next batch of DLC. Hopefully more maps are like Downhill (YEAH I SAID IT)

i bought the season pass ages ago and dont miss that 50 as i would have just spent it on something else, drink, weed or food or something else.
so basically i got more value from 50 than i usually would and there is still 4 more to come

TOTALLY worth is - I like having a bunch of extra maps, because by now the same maps from the vanilla game are getting tired. HYDRO is ok in theory, the waterway is cool, but for some reason I always get my donkey handed to me on it - the other three are greatness - GRIND is unique, DOWNHILL is flatout awesome - and MIRAGE is totally underrated, I've had a TON of fun on that map!

But for me, the true value is DIE RISE. Tranzit was such a disappointment for this zombie fan, but DIE RISE more than makes up for it - I've mostly been playing that more than anything else - it's easily the best Zombie map since KINO, in my opinion.

I think as DLC goes, it's a good value for the money. Four maps (many previous DLCs only gave you three) + the HUGE new Zombies map, the new Zombie mode TURNED (which is good, but I can only play it so long at a time before I get bored) and the new gun - there's a lot for the money if you're not prone to whiney complaining about everything Activision does.
