Depends on the skill of the green teammate really...I can't really know that before hand though.

I assume you specified green so as to indicate that they're a random and not my friend.

Randoms suck. They can have a UAV and there can be three of them closing in on the guy blipping on the radar and they'll still feed him a triple kill.

yes you can. which i do, but he said watching the door..Why would you need to watch a door if you are random throwing a betty and run n gun? Thats my point

I would prefer a good trusted teammate over equipment, but having both is what I would do.

Well, I never stay in one spot for longer than 5 seconds so neither. But equipment, I don't trust randoms with anything.

My own claymore is always better. It always alerts me someone is coming through the door, and it is more than 4 times likely to get a kill than a teammate.

Claymore. I can't count on 2green guys to take out one guy when I think they're watching my back and he kills us all, so why would I trust 1 to do it

I guess I'd rather have my equipment, even though it may get me 0 kills I'll know when it's gone and when I'll need to watch my back. That team mate could get 10 kills or 0, but I can be certain an enemy will sneak up behind me when he's gone. Of course your situation is pretty open to interpretation....but that's how I saw it...

depends on if the teammate is actually in good position. Most people can't camp for 8888 and pick a stupid position to watch a doorway from so they can't actually protect people from getting shot through that doorway. They're basically just waiting for an enemy to walk through and shoot you in the back, so they can kill the enemy

It would have been too dark, too dark altogether.

I would rather have the equipment watching the doorway rather than a teammate because the green guys can be unpredictable most of the time, and the equipment also serves as an alarm.
