Anyone use an LMG as their go-to weapon? If so, how do you do well with it? I really want to use the LSAT but I get HAMRed every time by SMG run n' gunners

    This.

Don't use lightweight or Dexterity. Don't use quickdraw handle. Don't use stock. These are crutches that SMG users have equipped to try and make their LMG more like an SMG.

Your job is to pick a spot, dig in tight and take out waves of enemies coming your way. Position yourself in chokepoints, ADS behind some cover, and camp. After you've taken a few of them out and cleared the area, feel free to move on to another choke point and do the same thing, but you need to be stationary.

If you find yourself dying because you keep getting caught off guard, you have completely misunderstood your role.

Always use Toughness and throw on a TF or a red dot. Unless you're on the Hamr the iron sights are so clean and the LSAT if you like those sights.

MK48 is my highest kd weapon.

-You have to really pay attention to where your teammates are at. You have to stay behind them. You're picking the same spots that you would aggressively snipe from but you don't need to be so stealthy about it - because people won't pop out to fire back if you are lighting up around them.

-Equip FMJ and lay a lot of lead if you see a sniper head or know someone is behind a wall. You get a lot of ammo - don't be afraid to use it. If you are ADSing between enemies don't stop firing.

-Use a pistol for moving between points. You can hipfire an LMG though and it is better than you might think.

    -IMO optics are necessary.

Try to keep some distance and don't worry LMG's got decent range. Also don't be afraid to open fire when you're panicked. It is crazy how many multiple kills I get panicking against some sneaking up on me or just running at me crazy.

MK 48 with Optic of choice/Stock/Rapidfire or suppressor depending on map.

Rapid fire on this beast is very potent if you can handle the recoil, on bigger maps though I like to slap on a dual band and suppressor.
