- Nov 19, 2012 3:53 am GMTThe permanent quick revive can be gained in a local co-op game with 2 controllers. I've seen a few people saying this has worked for them, but I want to try it out myself before I 100% believe them.
I've also read that deadshot daiquiri can be obtained by getting 60 headshots in a game, but I'm sure I've reached this number and not received it. Maybe these don't work in custom games?

If you've never seen an elephant ski, then you've never been on acid. - Nov 19, 2012 3:58 am GMTThis is good stuff TC. You've done a lot of hard work here. Don't take this the wrong way though but it would be useful if you could put your work into a better order.
1) Story/backstory first.
2) Helpful hints for noobs.
3) What to do in each area.
4) All weapon & perk unlocks.
5) FAQ & secrets/achievements.
etc etc.
If you did put all your stuff into a better order, i would sticky it no probs at all ;o)

No offense is taken. It's just a bit hard to fully be able to organize and post in the order I want as there is a character limit on each post. After I am finished looking for more information, I will gather all the information, and re-post it in the order that you said. - Nov 19, 2012 4:03 am GMTPhilR1 posted...

Although, it would be a lot easier to have a better order if I were to submit a FAQ on TranZit into GameFAQs. The only reason I haven't done that yet is because the users are contributing information that I was unaware of. - Nov 19, 2012 4:05 am GMTAnon330 posted...

Hey you don't have to post it in the order I said, it is your work! That was just a rough idea. Do what order you think is best. I have never written a guide like what you've done so you have more experience than me. I just thought it would be easier to get to what section you want if each section was different.
Very good stuff though. I particularly like the tips on what to do in each round and what weapons to get etc.
Could you also do a mini-section for single player users like myself? I know you can't get all achievements by yourself.
Thanks!

I have never actually written a FAQ before, so I'm going to have to figure out a decent order for the information. If you can help me come up with a good order of what all I should include in the re-creation of this topic, I will be appreciative of it.
And I don't see why I wouldn't be able to do a solo section. And as far as I know, the only achievement you can't get by yourself is the Tower of Babble one as to get that you have to complete the Easter Egg which requires four players.
Also, a question came to mind while looking at the Perks. If you get revived instead of bleeding out with Tombstone, do you still get your Perks? - Nov 19, 2012 4:18 am GMTAnon330 posted...

Well I would start with a section about what the zombies mode is. Maybe a little background information on how Zombies started in World at War and how it has progressed until now. Not too long, just enough info for people who know nothing about it.
Next section should be the story/backstory which brings us to the start of the Zombies mode in Black Ops 2.
Next section could be what each mode is about - tranzit, green run etc and your objectives for each mode. Then you could have a whole section for each mode with your helpful hints & tips, including secrets for each area. It would be worthwhile if you could get more hints & tips from other users to get different points of view. You might want to go for a completely different weapon set-up to someone else but still get the same outcome.
Then a section on weapons and perks. Which one's are good? Which ones are not worth your time? Maybe rate them out of 5 stars?
A section on FAQ. How do you make the turbine? How do you turn on the power for Tranzit? If you can then refer back to your earlier sections, that would be great.
Last section I would probably have for achievements.
This is just a rough idea Anon330. You could probably do a much better job than me!

Am I forgetting anything? - Nov 19, 2012 4:54 am GMTWell guys, I'm going to begin writing this FAQ, Walkthrough, and Information so it is more organized and in a better order and not as random as the information is here. I'm going to leave this topic up so people can still contribute information. I will check on this when I get the chance. I'm unsure if I am gonna submit it into GameFAQs as a FAQ, or post it on the boards so other people can add to it/give me their input. I wonder how long it will take to finish.

New Perk Information!:
It's possible to unlock a PERMANENT Perk that saved to your profile but it will only work on TranZit survival. It will not work on any of the other maps, and it will also not work on Grief mode. The PERMANENT Perk that you can unlock to your profile is Quick Revive. In order to unlock this, all you have to do is revive the same person 12, to 15 times in a row, in the same round. If you have done this correctly, you will notice a green poof that will appear over the person you were reviving head. You will then notice that when you revive someone, the word "revive" when reviving will be purple, and it will revive people as fast as it would if you had Quick Revive. You do not need to buy Quick Revive to unlock the PERMANENT effect of Quick Revive. Again, it saves to your profile, and it will only work in TranZit survival.
Using the permanent Quick Revive effect, you can stack it with Quick Revive by buying the Quick Revive Perk. If you have the permanent Quick Revive effect, and Quick Revive, you will revive someone almost instantly, which is faster than Quick Revive, and the permanent effect you can unlock for your profile.
Double Tap upgrade:
Treyarch has buffed the Double Tap perk in zombies this time around. What they've done, is that they have made it so your gun shoots an additional bullet each time a single bullet comes out of your gun. They made it so that the gun does not consume extra ammo if the additional bullet is fired.
Thanks, I thought the revive faster thing was a glitch... anyways it's hella useful

XBL GT: Lethal234 - Nov 19, 2012 8:07 am GMTBump so people will see all this information.
Also, I am done with the first five sections of the FAQ/Walk-through/Massive amount of information that I'm writing. These sections are: The introduction, What is Zombies, Background information on CoD: World at War Zombies and how it's progressed, Zombie Maps from CoD: World at War and CoD: Black Ops, and The story of Zombies leading to the events of CoD: Black Ops 2. It took me three hours to complete these five sections. I clicked the print preview, and it turns out I have typed 11 pages of text. Typing the entire Zombies story took so long. The sections below are what I have left.
6) What the three modes involving Zombies are in CoD: Black Ops 2.

- Nov 19, 2012 2:10 pm GMTDon't you know that bumping is my business, and business is good.
- Nov 19, 2012 3:30 pm GMTNew information: How to get 6 perks in TranZit without glitching.
What you should do, is buy Speed Cola, Juggernog, Quick Revive, and Tombstone.
Next, kill yourself. Seriously.
You will have to be quick about this, but when you spawn, get Double Tap, and Stamin-Up. After you have these two perks, buy Tombstone again.
Then, grab your tombstone drop from when you killed yourself. If you get there fast enough, you will regain Speed Cola, Juggernog, and Quick Revive to go with the Double Tap, Stamin-Up, and Tombstone that you bought before picking your Tombstone up.
And there you go. This is how you can get six perks without glitching in TranZit. - Nov 19, 2012 6:47 pm GMTBuh-buh buh buh-buh BUH! bump.

I'm confused. So will all this organized info be a new post on this board or will it become a FAQ/guide in the FAQ section of this game? Either way, this is awesome work man! Really appreciate it all!
