Call of Duty: Black Ops II User Review
Black Ops 2 is a familiar game with improvements that make the gaming experience more enjoyable than its predecessors.

After an evening of playing Black Ops 2 I certainly do not regret buying the game. I'm having a lot of fun with it. I did not buy MW3 so I can only compare this game to the other recent shooters I have played which are Black Ops and BF3. I'm not going to even try to compare Black Ops 2 and BF3 but compared to Black Ops 2 everything is an upgrade! I know a lot of you are probably saying, "well, duh" but sometimes sequels aren't an improvement over their predecessors. In Multiplayer I really like League Play. I'm a family man, I have a nice career, and while I'm a long time gamer I do things outside of the home like weight lifting, Judo, running, ect… No matter how much I play over the long term my KDR never really exceeds 1.15 or so. It's nice to be able to play competitive games with equally skilled players and in the rare event where I may actually improve my KDR I know I'll be bumped up. I like the new maps already and I like that some of the old maps have made their way back into this game. Campaign mode is really good so far and immediately into the campaign you're given an opportunity to do air attacks and such. It's a nice touch where in the past with other FPS games you are not introduced to some of the other goodies until later on. It seems that even in campaign mode you're given the opportunity to have load outs which is nice. I think the biggest plus for me, and perhaps this was in Black Ops and I didn't know it, is that you can turn off the gore and bad language in campaign. Let's face it, a lot of young kids are playing CoD and while kids 10 and up are exposed to all sorts of harsh language at school it's nice to be able to turn that stuff off inside the home if they like playing FPS games. I played a little bit of Zombie Mode and I liked it as well. I'm not sure why some are downing it but I think it's an improvement. I like the fact that you have to figure things out to build perks and such. Someone in another review complained that they weren't given any direction as to what they could build. Honestly, what ever happened to exploring and finding things out on your own? Sheesh. The only thing I don't like about this game, and it pissed me off in Black Ops, is the inability to sprint long distances. While I'm in great shape I'm way past my athletic prime but even today if you put the gear these soldiers in the game are wearing on me I could sprint for much longer. It shouldn't be a perk. On a scale of 1 – 10 I give this game a 9. It's a win for Treyarch and Activision and not because of the amount of purchase sales. If you liked Black Ops you'll really like this game. If you're a CoD fan who's fed up with the lack of significant innovation over the predecessors I would strongly suggest you pass on this game.

Took some time to make another Hellsing playercard emblem for the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops, in this tutorial I show you how you can create AlucarD, as always you must unlock all 12 layers first and buy all the neccessary stencils first.Posted Feb 20, 2011
