I am surprised that people who have not played the game actually come to this site to spread hate about a game. What an amazing amount of time you must have on your hands. If you have not played the game and are generally not a fan of COD games, fine - but no need to bash a game you have never played.
The game comes with 3 modes of play, Campaign, Zombies, and Multiplayer. Campaign is truly enjoyable, and although I have not finished it yet (I play it a little at a time) I can say that although the story is a little disjointed, it is tremendously fun and very well thought out.
People seem to love zombies...I personally am not a big fan of it. I played it once, really got no enjoyment out of it and will most likely not play it again. My sons who were huge fans of the zombie mode in Black Ops 1, say that this is just OK, but they continue to play it.
Multiplayer is where it is at. I am average at best as my K/D ratio hovers around 1. I have great days of playing and some terrible days of playing. This is the most fun that I have had with multiplayer though. Guns seem more balanced overall and the "hit code" seems to have been fixed from previous games. The pick 10 system allows you to customize your loadout exactly how you would want it. Don't want a secondary gun, but an extra perk? No problem, you can do that. The options are numerous and make creating a class and taking it into battle extremely enjoyable. I personally like the maps quite a bit and have yet to find one that I truly loathe playing. Additionally I think Treyarch's decision to make the matchmaking system based solely on ping is tremendous...I have only been booted once in hours of gaming.
As for the basics...I think the graphics are fine. Sure there are games out there with better graphics, but overall I would give them an 8/10. There are a few graphical glitches here and there, but hardly anything to get worked up about.
Sound is pretty good as well. I always crack up when there is a headshot...there is a delayed "ting" sound after the headshot whether that someone was wearing a helmet or not. Regardless, sound gets an 8/10.
I rate the overall game based on whether I think I get my money's worth. Absolutely, YES! It's not a perfect game, but to me it is hours of mindless fun and if you enjoyed the other COD games, you will truly enjoy this.

Took some time to make another Hellsing playercard emblem for the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops, in this tutorial I show you how you can create AlucarD, as always you must unlock all 12 layers first and buy all the neccessary stencils first.Posted Feb 20, 2011
