Call of Duty: Black Ops II introduces a feature called codcasting, which enables any player to become a commentator on competitive multiplayer matches.

You get to pay top dollar $60 for the same game but get to crap tal...I mean commentate on other peoples game. lol, no thanks. I'll be more impressed with a COD game when it catches up to modern technology.
Wow ths COD casting is going to be great. I'm glad they didn't spend anytime improving the gameplay. I mean who really needs change in a game. Why play the game when I can have a more hands-on approach by watching someone else play and as bonus I get to commentate. SWEET!!
1 Like really? Multi-Team Deathmatch? At least have some balls like BF3 who called TDM "TDM". So if you're stealing SQUAD deathmatch, CALL IT SQUAD DEATHMATCH, not "Multi-Team Deathmatch.
@GamerBaboo Battlefield 3 has squads though and Squad Deathmatch involves teams the exact size of squads. CoD doesn't have squads because communication is team wide and you do not get to choose where you spawn, and the team sizes in multi team can be a small as 6 teams of 2, so it really is just multiple teams. I see what you're getting at but halo has had this for a while, if anything it would be more appropriate to say it was "stolen" from that.
2 Like @GamerBaboo Not sure what you mean? What does the game mode name matter? Multiteam deathmatch describes it pretty well. Stealing? I WANT games to "steal" as much as they can from each other. It makes our games better.

This is interesting...it looks like black ops 2 will be more competitive! And please people stop complaining about the game having an old engine...we all know it and it is what it is...this is the call of duty we'll be playing until Nov 2013 so we might as well get used to it!
A lot of people aren't going to see the need for this feature to be added to CoD. But this just seems like it'll be easier to host online compeitions with CoD BO2. Also, with this feature, your going to see so many videos on youtube with a bunch of funny guys commentating over a skillful game. I welcome that, I enjoy watching guys like Swifty and ElementQT, or Totalbuscuit and Yoggcast talking as they play video games. So I know this'll happen often in the new CoD.
Now, I enjoy the COD games...but why I would I want to watch other people play just to commentate? Even if they're my friends its pretty boring watching other people play.
y do that when all the have to do is add PIP and a MiC and call it something 'cool' ...COD Casting, just roles off the lips

1 Like So basically they give you the option to commentate on matches like it's a sports game or something? That sounds pretty cool.
so it pretty much looks like you can see all the other teams player in real time not sure how that will work. Anyone with a tablet will have that up and running right next to them while they play and know everyone's position. I hope there is a delay or something to not allow that to happen
