I've got to admit, seeing this does make me want to play Black ops 2 I presumed from the gameplay I saw it was like any other CoD

Best Call of Duty campaign. This game was more of a tragedy about Raul Manendez than a story about some American Black Ops team.
It is a bit incoherent because Manendez seems too obsessed with his sister to be the kind of mastermind that could get most of the world to side with him. It would have been better if he was someone whose family was killed by drones(and it would explain why he destroys all of them near the end).
He was really what Bane should have been in Dark Knight Rises.
If taken completely straight both show an obsession of rich Americans to make sure the status quo stays and their thinking that anyone who wants to change it must be crazy. In this case that rich countries stay rich and keep the poor in the dirt unless they are obedient slaves. And in the case of Dark Knight that the rich stay rich no matter how they got their wealth and no matter how many innocents are jailed(Dent Act) while those guilty of white collar crimes remain free(Bruce is embezzling company money in the first movie for his costume and equipment).
@Arif_Sohaib He destroyed the drones because he wanted to bring capitalism to it's knees, but not destroy it himself, he wanted the World to take arms and fight what he considered a corrupt system. He was successful on my playthrough at least, I fucked up a few decisions and killed him, making him a martyr.
Just to check - what happens on the bridge of the Obama if you shoot Harper (as Farid), and successfully kill De Falco? Surely then Farid would survive too? Or does Salazaar take him out?
so i got too the part at the coke bunker on the pc version and it gitched there and i coudnt go down so i restarted and didnt feel like doin that part with raul over and i kinda did zombies and now i got a ps3 and im doin zombies alot i gotta start to do the campain
ik the very last ending cause my friend played it for the xbox 360 and got to that ending and i was like beast i gotta do that
personally felt like the second ending was pretty heavy, but still in a cheesy call of duty kind of way..

@Nikosnik123 I disagree the sci-fi elements were what made this game new and refreshing and i think they should continue the series in that direction

@Nikosnik123 @s0lidsnakez I especially love the scorestreak thing, I think it helps people also focus on the objective at hand instead of going on a massacre to get the highest kill/scorestreak available.
2 Like 60 euros for a few campaigns is not worth the money. Besides, the campaigns are not that great to play for several times, for you get really bored.
Also, playing its multiplayer is also boring, because it is the same stuff you find in free fps games out there, in fact, there are many free fps games that are way better in multiplayer mode, for instance, planetside 2.
2 Like You needed a drawing board to explain all this? As for story goes, it's was really bland-unstoppable, all-knowning terrorist mastermind. Backstabbing from inner group. Yet the choices and paths they gave to players was certainly well done.
Ehh... While there were many choices, I didn't like how the endings are influenced by only the few major ones. Even then, the endings are only the same cutscenes presented in different orders according to what you've done. I also hated how StrikeForce was optional, but impacted your ability to achieve the best ending. Hopefully they won't have something new and untested have such a huge impact on the campaign in the future if they continue with this "player-choice" storytelling, but I won't be buying Call of Duty anymore, so it's not like my opinion(s) matter.
@VisualPendulum Even for fps, the choices you can make is still impressive. It's not rpg, and Mass effect 3 has less than this one. You were lazy to do stirkeforce so you reap what you sow. And man, you already bought this, and wrote an opinion the story, denial much?
@synxz I said I disliked Strikeforce. That doesn't mean I didn't complete it. I obtained the best ending. Yes, I did buy this, and I didn't like it. I'm not sure how my opinion means I'm in denial though. I won't buy more of a product that I don't enjoy.
@greendude123 @synxz Key word: NEARLY. I have been playing since Modern Warfare 2, and I'm calling it quits with this installment. I don't even want someone to buy the next game for me. The hate for Call of Duty may have gotten old, but the "see you next year" comments are right alongside it.

I got the second ending where Raul self immolates.
Really like how they had these branching path storylines, same as in Spec Ops The Line. would really like to see others play around with this idea.
My endings were with Mason and his father which is rumored to be the ending that will continue the Black Ops story which i think is the best of them all
