@DisturbedClown to be honest, the more i hear what you have to say, the more i realise you have a sense of humour (and direction), so in closing to this discussion, i wanna say congrats on going into software engineering, it actually would be an awesome career to follow, also congrats on not having pimples. also wanna clarify that im not really a pr!ck, just a guy saying stupid sh** cause i have a computer screen to hide behind, like the rest of us on the internet. lol. i thought it would be funny to start mouthing off the internet cause i was bored, but its not really all its cracked up to be, especially when i targeted mr. comeback here... wiseguy.

Ok, i got my favorite notepad and pen. So right trigger's to shoot, left is to aim. Now, i'm stuck on the part where i'm suppposed to pause the game??? If you have any tips for this part please tell me!!!

Activision/Treyarch are to blame for these shameless attempts to attract casual/newbie gamers to buy this game. The hard-sell on single player is their meek attempt to make up for the game's anti-n00b community and ultra-hardcore multiplayer arena.

Clearly if you're a pro at playing Call of Duty and feel the need to point that out here, you don't need any "help" except to just practice, so this video is obviously not directed at you. For those of you who feel like you could make a better video, why don't you do it and share it with others instead of just being rude and talking about it? @ Toysoldier34, play hardcore TDM and "Turn off aim assist in black ops" and then see if your always in the top 3! and your saying left for dead involves skill... dont make me laugh dude, you cant even aim down the sights on any of the guns, and its just mindless triggered a.i running at you all the time!

@oneofthefall I have played it actually and am usually in the top 3, but I stick to games that take skill. Play me in Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead and you wouldn't be talking so confidently.

Best tip- Don't play it. It has a slight lag at all times. It isn't a hardcore game. In a game if you are god you should always be the top score. You know a game is broken when the scoreboard from one match looks nothing like the board from the next with the same people. Take my word for it, there is nothing hardcore about 13 year olds on Live that only play Call of Duty all day when they get home from school.

I heard Gamespot was hiring after watching this, if you want to give me a job Gamespot, that may help... Just sayin'. I'm already well experienced with these video-games, as I've already learned the best way to kill an opponent in multiplayer is to play mind tricks. Look at him, but don't shoot. That really messes them up.

Really? :lol: GameSpot, where is the dignity? This video was one crouch/prone/dive tip away from being the least bit respectable.

Just beat Black Ops on Veteran and it was hell

I suppose if one hasn't played any one of the dozens of post-Halo shooters in the last ten years, this would count as a "Tips and Hints" video, but the whole thing just seems incredibly redundant to me. Almost insulting, actually, particularly the bit: "Guards and other enemies tend to notice you when you fire your gun..." If anything, the time spent on this video might have been better served going over some of the differences in Black Ops' multiplayer modes compared to previous CoD entries. Rambling off the basics that any decent game will hand-hold you through in the first place doesn't speak well of the video in question....

Yeah i definately didn't know that enemies notice you when you fire guns.

I have to ask though, why the hell is there the word destroy over the tanks? Can you turn off hints?

The pick up guns thing is important in online more than single player. My friend never picks up weapons even when they are far better than his own and I swear every fight we get into he runs out of ammo half way through.

the barrels is the only one I didn't know.

the only part that was slightly helpful was the barrels. it took me an extra 2 minutes to figure out i had to melee them. if only i saw this video first i wouldve saved 2 minutes instead of wasting 4. oh well.
