@nerijus359 Buying MW3 is an idiotic move, no matter what other game you buy. You are paying $60 for something with the same guns, same textures, same everything. Half of MW2 scenery was copied into the game for crying out loud! and dont give me that I'm buying it to see how the campaign ends garbage, the story sucks.

Repost of earlier statement since Gamespot likes to randomly delete posts. I would love to see all of these newbie CoD fanboys play something really challenging like Battlefield, Socom, or GRAW. You know the games where running around aimlessly shooting every little thing that moves using some really stupid perks isn't going to make you some OP friendless nerd. also @Black_Adder_ i could not agree more. I wouldn't go as far as to say best ever but MAG definitely was one of the better shooters out there. Beyond CoD in leaps and bounds for sure. But my heart will always be with BF.
@bobbo888 ur saying no one plays BF2 I still play bf2 on multiple FULL 64 player servers 6 years after its release id like to see that many people playing Black ops in 6 years. If u want to say a game is dead at least play it.

@bobbo888 So, you are saying that bullet drop, destructible uhh everything (ground, buildings,trains, vehicles, more, and more), drive-able vehicles, top of the line animation, amazing graphics (you actually see the player rip the dog tags off of some one you stab in BF3), bullet leading, and so much more isn't realistic? Then what is it? In real life bullets drop, etc. etc. The plot lines are usually the most unrealistic because none of the events have happened or didn't happen that way. You sir, are stupid and any further arguments are invalid. Have a nice day while I see BF3 go ba*ls deep in CODs a**.
@Entropy730 Yea lemme know how "realistic" the video games you play are. Keep in mind they're games. You can't really say one is more realistic than the other. The only realism they can offer is in a plot line, not gameplay...
P.S. I actually did play BF3 in its alpha version and even then it was shaping up to be a better game than BF:Bad Company 2. I already know it will be awesome.
@bobbo888 realistic FPSs ARE more fun.. lunge knifing and dual 1888s was fun for the 10 seconds before it took me to realize it required no skill and how unrealistic in a "modern war"-fare it was. games that are better are more fun to play, which is battlefield lol. if your logic stands then enjoy your rehash and spending, on average, $76 dollars on DLC lmao... 18 million people got suckered into that. For your sake I hope you weren't one of them
@Taffelost very unlikely, hasnt happened anytime recently...what activision does is buys out a good company that makes great games and then forces them to pump out a game every year....they are pretty much a plague, out to destroy good games in order to make a buck.

@nrdys Still think CoD is better? They fired their top programmers, the studio leads, and the major people that weren't fired, quit. Its like if Jeter, Cano, Sebathia, Swish, and everyone else quit the NY Yankees, and they were replaced by a bunch of random people- you still think the Yankees would win games? Also, they will never wait a couple of years. West and Zampella were accused of trying to delay MW3. Of course, it wasn't the case, Activision tried to force it out too soon, subjected their employees to imense mistreatment, so they left. Activision doesn't care about quality, or who makes the game, only there is a product to sell. You aren't a Call of Duty fan. I am a Call of Duty fan. I liked the series before the Activision debacle. You are simply an Activision fan.

I also said that people are acting like bf3 is better than mw3 and it's not even out yet. You're the one defending bf with "facts" and junk, not I. It's a video game, if you want realistic join the army lol, I play whatever is most fun.
Both Bad Company 3 and Modern Warfare 3 will be sucky games. I will save all my money till a new grand Theft Auto comes out, or till they actually put love and effort into making a BC or COD game. All the same run and gun MP with a 2 hour campaign tacked on. When are they going to make a COD with a big campaign, interactive levels, and select fire modes? COd campaigns lately are way too brief and the MP(like the SP) is too user friendly. As for BFBC2...its okay just like COD...all mp with a very linear and user friendly 2 hour sp campaig tacked on the side. Im playing Goldeneye and perfect Dark on the n64 and it is amazing how deep and addictive it is just to play the single player campaign. Why can't modern games be this good?
This event looks amazing. Sorry to say, I love Halo, dont get me wrong, but this blows Halo fest and even Blizzcon (basically a PC elitist circle jerk) out of the water.
That would be awesome to play paintball on real world COD maps. Can't wait to play some MW3!
@bobbo888 youre the only fanboy here when you say mw3 cant suck because no ones played it, yet "no one" played BF2 but it sucked. actually BF2 was a better game if you're looking for strategic and tactical squad combat with vehicles and aircraft. but if you're looking to unrealistically run and gun with dual 1888's then stick with CoD, fanboy.
People hate on call of duty like they've actually played bf3 thoroughly. Remember bf2? I don't... cos nobody played it. mw2? Everyone. More people played played black ops than bf2 and that game sucked. Fan boyz
The games themselves are halfway decent, but the hype they are desperately trying to generate is pathetic.
More than any other shooter action mw3 I have accepted. Call of Duty series is always the best shooter of all the users know the score and fully characterized
i think kanye west is great, his a great artist and i think his a nice addition to the event.I kinda wish i was there even if i might still buy battlefield 3.
