I will review only the solo part of the game here. As you probably know, the COD franchise exists since a long time and they release one game each year. That's a lot. However, this game contains plenty of stuff for a first person shooter compared to his competitors.
The campaign, which takes around 8 hours to complete on hard is filled with action, as we are used to. The player is on a rail from the start until the end, however there are some Intels hidden in each missions. The downside to them is that they give you absolutely nothing new, no additional info on the story, no new items, nothing. You will play most of the time with partners, which are not that bright. You will have to take the lead most of the time if you want to advance, because enemies will keep coming in for a long time.
There is also a specs ops section, which contains around 16 missions. You play alone and need to get a special objective completed before the time is up. That can be to secure the president, defuse an explosive before the time expires as few examples. You can play each of them on 3 different difficulty levels and complete them will award you with stars all depending on which one you chose. You will unlock more of these levels as you gain stars. They are very tough you complete, but once you do, you will be so satisfied.
As a former BF3 player, I cannot do anything else than encourage you to buy Modern Warfare 3 instead of BF3. There is so much more stuff in it if you want to play solo only.

MW3 offers a refined cinematic experience, but its shine and sparkle fades under familiar linearity and simplicity.

Took some time to make another Hellsing playercard emblem for the PC version of Call of Duty Black Ops, in this tutorial I show you how you can create AlucarD, as always you must unlock all 12 layers first and buy all the neccessary stencils first.Posted Feb 20, 2011
