Gabriel is not Alucard father and Trevor did not become Alucard :FACT:

- Aug 29, 2012 11:54 am GMTNo Gabriel is not Alucard son because Gabriel wife is named Marie and her last name is Belmont proof that Gabriel is and will always be a Belmont even with cursed blood he has inside him. Alucard never said one word about a Marie. In Castlevania SOTN Alucard called his mom Lisa and he was there to kill his father Dracula for killing his mother Lisa and end the cursed bloodline. If you havent played and beat Castlevania SOTN

it clearly shows and tells that Dracula was defeated by the hands of his own son Alucard and he was surprised when Alucard told him that he was doomed ever since he lost the ability to love.His father Dracula asked to hear his wife Alucards mother Lisa last words and Alucard recited them and Dracula showed some form of humanity before he died.
Trevor is not Alucard because they teamed up with Sypha Belnades in Castlevania Draculas curse.So Alucard and Trevor are two different charatcers.Would be cool but not likely.

They already threw out the window the (in my opinion rather weak) Mathias Cronqvist origin of Dracula with Gabriel being Dracula. Whatever SOTN established means little to the LoS timeline. And that for me is a very good thing. The original timeline was a mess that never made me care about whatever happened there.

Before you state these so called 'facts' you should first get your facts straight. If you knew anything about this game you would've known that the timeline of Los has nothing to do with the other castlevania Timelines, that's why it's called a Reboot. Also you say Alucard is the son of Dracula? well if you would've played Los you should know Gabriel becomes Dracula, so in fact you just stated that Alucard is Gabriel/Dracula's son yourself. - Aug 30, 2012 2:59 am GMTwhat bothers me in this reboot universe is that belmonts are starting to be known for being vampires, for newcomers that is anyway. To me it sounds like the Belmonts did in fact turned into a family of vampire hunters regardless of the first Belmont becoming a vampire himself.
I still think Alucard and Trevor are different persons, but Im not willing to bet on it.

Really. Just how theirs different art works of Solid Snake in different outfits in Peace Walker.
Trevor falls and comes back has Alucard.

The irony...I thought FF fans were a bunch of ignorant tools but Castlevania fans take the cake with how badly they're taking a well done reboot of what was a stale franchise.

He was the first to use the Vampire Killer Whip and was responsible for swearing his family to fight evil for eternity.
Also from the video its a complete give away and you can tell its Hector because if you look at the sword he weild in the trailer that is same exact sword Hector uses.If you don't know who Hector is he's the protagonist of Castlevania Curse of Darkness who bears a striking resemblance to Alucard .A former Devil Forgemaster who was a superior swordsmen sent by Dracula to destroy Trevor Belmont. But he betrayed Dracula and left for a normal life , by allowing himself to fall by the hand of Trevor Belmont.
After renouncing his powers, Hector had been leading a normal life when his beloved was executed as a witch. He has vowed to exact vengeance upon Dracula, who cleverly manipulated the witch trial.
In the end Trevor Belmont had breached Dracula's defenses much sooner than Dracula had anticipated and had the help of powerful allies, including Dracula's son Alucard.after Draculas defeat Hectors last words was vowed to the Belmont Clan to destroy every Dracula Incarnations then he vanished into the moonlight.

A: Why don't you try having sex in real life? - Dr_Mojo - Oct 17, 2012 2:28 am GMT^That's all well and good, but as others have said, this is a separate continuity from the other Castlevania games. Lords of Shadow, Mirror of Fate, and Lords of Shadow 2 form their own continuity.
The devs said to consider Lords of Shadow as "Dracula Begins", with Mirror of Fate between it and Lords of Shadow 2. One of the plotlines of Mirror of Fate is the fact that it was revealed to Marie what would ultimately happen to Gabriel, and thus she kept their child a secret from him. LoS Trevor is after Dracula to avenge his mother's death, which he indeed caused. I don't think it's been revealed yet whether Trevor knows that Dracula is his father or not (the revelation of which might lead him to becoming Alucard).
This is purely speculative, but the art for Alucard and Trevor are far too similar for them not to be related in some way. They are two different characters in Mirror of Fate because that game will have you playing in different periods of time (thus, you'll also be able to play as Trevor's son as an adult). I'm almost certain that Trevor becomes Alucard at some point, but I simply do not have any concrete evidence.
On a side note, I'm hoping to see Sypha as more than a casualty. The last time she was in action was Judgment, and I didn't particularly care for many of the redesigns in that game.

Edit: That was not all. On topic: From what I gather in previous Castlevania's a recurring theme is that Dracula has tried to use a Belmont as a vessel? They might incorporate that into LoS as Gabriel being the first vessel or something in this continuity. 2 cents.

Once again, it's a reboot and thus anything can happen. You do know what a reboot is, right? A reboot creates it's own continuity, anything that happened in past games does not matter.
Also, you obviously have not been keeping up with the game. Trevor and Alucard share traits, and I doubt it is for no reason at all.
So yea, your "fact" is nothing of the sort.
