Is that Alucards sword Gabriel is wielding?

Or may be gabriel's sword and alucard got it somehow. In SOTN alucard sword came from family's heirloom.

Well, in Mirror of Fate, Al uses a whip, so there is at leasta story as to why he changes weapons.
Also, Drac has the sword when facing off against Trevor in one of the trailers for MoF.

That's what he said. So he was given a 2nd chance because he probably fell in battle during Mirrors of fate. then that's how he got Gabriel's sword? May be, just my speculation.

Or it could be two similar, yet different swords.
I like the idea of Gabe with both a sword and whip. Add in some really sick magic, and we've got ourselves a Devil May Cry junior going on.

They're different. Gabriel's is made of magic and materializes in his hands when he uses it, much like his whip. Alucard's is obviously a real physical blade.
