What is the best armor and weapon in the game?

well it all depends on what you actually like to use,i myself like to use the Alucard weapons and armor with the Dragon helm and the Talisman,the weapons and armor might have better stats but that doesn't mean that they are good to use and are better then any other,you could beat the game with Red Rust if you want to and it would be no different then with Muramasu

I haven't played this game in a long time, but AFAIK, the best Weapon/Armor/Accessory combo in the game is Familiar Sword, Walk Armor/Alucard Armor and two Rings of Varda.
