"Surprisingly good"

i have just played aside Catherine, 2 other atlus games, demon souls and shin megami tensei from the persona series there for i don't specially fancy persona, however Catherine left a pretty good impression on me with a really good and immersive history memorable characters good dialogs and also not impresive but really good voice acting.

The history starts with our main character Vincent a 30 year old guy that likes a little too much the pink on his shirts and his girlfriend Katherine. That for Vincent's dislike wants to get their relation to the next level and tie the knot.

After a long night of drinking with his friends in their favorite bar, he meets Catherine a 22 year old perky girl, that to his surprise wakes up naked beside him the next day, and to make it all worst he hasn't any recolection of the past hours, and here is when his nightmare begins

And speaking about nightmares here is when the main part of the gameplay takes place in a church like tower of distress full of sheep and falling towers, and big boss chases.

The game main aproach is climb or die arrange the tower that stands before you in cube like forms tha you can move and arrange in stair form so that Vincent can climb in a better way, latter on the game you get power ups to boost your climbing and also different kind of cubes and foes to make your nigthmare not so easy for you.
Also you get to control Vincent when he is not "dreaming" at the bar where you can interact with coustumers listen to their problems, this will play a interesting role in the history and the answers you choose will also affect a "morality" bar that will lead to a different ending depending on how this bar goes on in the game,

Now this game is difficult not unplayeble but difficult enough to pouse a challenge, what i don't like the most is that sometimes the camera controls isn't the best and could use a bit more stages but even with not much stages it could probably take you from 10 to 15 hours to finish it and also you can replay the game to get different endings.

This is why i am giving a 8.5 to this game and also expecting more games like this that challenge the developers into making more and more games that aren't afraid being different .
