How do I build a tesla coil as the soviets?

Ive read all the faqs on here and they say that the only pre-requisite is the super-reactor,Ive built one of those and I still cant find it on any constuction menu!?!?I know i should be able to build it cause all the faqs are telling me to build them in this mission!!!

I am not sure if you know how to access base defenses, but they are their own menu. If you have the PC version, below your mini-map, to the right of the construction tab, should be a shield icon. The fourth option(row 2, column 1) should be the Tesla Coil.

If you are playing the 360 version of this game, directly to the right of the construction menu in the main HUD ring is this shield icon. Select it and you should have your Tesla Coil in the ring.

In the 360 version you can only access the tesla coils via a crusher crane you can select the crane and build them through that menu but they are not available through your MCV at all. even if you open the menu you still have to build a crusher crane in order to build them. hope that helps. It's easy, press right on the dpad to allow you to build tesla coils, the Iron Curtin, and the Vacuum Imploder

I should be more clear, when selecting a building structure (Con yard or crane) you can press right on the d-pad when selecting buildingsto bring up anything that can't fit in the current menu

Go to your constuction yard hold rt to open the menu now while holding rt press the right button on the d-pad and it will bring up more construction options ,sneaky :D
