Ok honestly I think the campaign story was bad, and the multiplayer is the like the best part.
Can't wait to try this title out,looks even better than the first one (which I highly enjoyed) and in regards to multiplayer (online) pardon my grammar but ''Don't fix what Aint Broken!'' .
@pokemonblackftw But Black Ops and Goldeneye should have proven that it the online can still be good.
@pokemonblackftw I honestly don't understand why. Besides the online issues, the system is perfect for FPS with the WiiMote's pointer controls.
I don't know if I want to get this game. The Conduit (1) was a bit of a letdown...but this review seems promising.
Personally I thought they were too harsh on the A.I.s and the Multiplayer, I personally thought the Multiplayer was great, even if it did mirror the campaign.

Great! too bad I depleted my VG budget with my 3DS :( I'll have to work harder to get a bonus ;)
@goggle1 For real? My Nintendo has been broke for about a year (I voided the warranty so I can't afford to have it fixed), so I haven't got to play any new games on it.
If the first one got 6.5, and this one seems to have waaay better in this review, and yet only a 7?

Kinda reminds me of Body Harvest for N64.... Am I the only one that thought that was a good game...? Where's a sequel..?
I hope there's a game guide to this. I don't want to go to IGN, just to find secrets and finish the game like the first one.
This game looks cool. When I get my Wii fixed I'll give it a try. It reminds me of Duke Nukem 3D with the way that he spouts a catch-phrase after making a kill!

As long as they fixed the difficulty spikes, I'll buy it once the price drops. The Wii was the console for first person shooters. If only someone had noticed this ... or maybe if Nintendo had made the Wii HD things would be different today.
Seems like i remember hearing this was coming to hd systems as well. Im probably just crazy though.
A two month delay for this? I don't think I'll be buying this one. I don't know how long the campaign is and I saw in that video how bad the A.I. was; the multiplayer was supposably pretty medicore as well and I've got Killzone 3 for MP so I'll pass on this game. Maybe if they make a third one it will be something worth buying but this time I'm gonna have to pass on Conduit again.
I have to say I'm pleased that you made direct comparisons to the first game. Many other reviews have been giving this game lower scores than the first one yet are giving the exact same criticisms that they gave the first one. Of course one big difference in 2011 compared to 2009 is that Conduit 2 actually has some real competition in the Wii Black Ops and GoldenEye, and both of them are better than this game (especially with multiplayer). Still I appreciate that you didn't thrash this game like you did the first one. Also find it pretty interesting that you think the single player is better than multiplayer. The single player is somewhat better than the first game (more varied environments and actual bosses but in my opinion the voice acting is worse, the story overall worse, and there are frame rate issues). The Multiplayer is vastly superior to The Conduit in that there is local multiplayer and actual perks .The first Conduit had none and was therefore outdated on that front when it came out and completely abandoned once Modern Warfare Reflex came out. I think this game will be able to stand among the Wii FPS competetion (of course its nothing compared to the FPS on HD systems).
@johnnyauau, I used [url=http://www.amazon.com/Hauppauge-1212-Definition-Personal-Recorder/dp/B0018LX0DY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1302716187&sr=8-2]this fancy HD capture device[/url] to get all my footage for Conduit 2 and Section 8: Prejudice. @HaloOverrated, We didn't get the game until Tuesday of last week and I couldn't begin playing until Wednesday. I apologize for being late but it was out of our hands.
By the way, why does Ford have a COMPLETELY different voice now despite this game coming right after the first one...
I like how he talks about how good the Wiimote controls are but yet EXCLUSIVELY uses the classic controller throughout the review DESPITE the Wiimote being SO much more accurate. It also looks like he played on some lower difficulty or something.
thank god they put the dual stick classic controller support in at last, games like this (Also glares at the god awful Metroid Prime 3 angrily) should just not be played with the crappy wii mote, its just pain and dulldrums! Theres no substitute for a dual stick controller
thanks tom i can get both for a combined total of 15 bucks. good review, and I agree with your Bad A.I complaints, those aliens really are stupid, and yes I agree the multiplayer was dull and generic at some points
NO MENTION OF SPLITSCREEN ?!? Didn't the developers emphasize on the fact of splitscreen ? no mention of it anywhere ...
