"War rages everywhere", "Ragnarok","Light","Destiny","Darkness","Heroes chosen by the gods"-the words and sentences I don't want to hear in my 2012.+ games. Really? REALLY!? You get a blank paper and you write the words that existed since the dawn of gaming?
When I saw RPG and strategy was interested. But this looks like warcraft. If I want to play Warcraft, Ill just buy Warcraft. this looks like a reused idea with no additions.
I caught some gameplay footage of this on Youtube, and the overall look of it made me think of Dungeon Siege melded with X-Men Legends, but not in a good way. The gameplay seemed a bit slow and cumbersone, probably due to the RTS nature of it. And yes, that character's voice is incredibly annoying. :/ I had been watching this title on the off-chance it might be a sleeper, but after seeing the gameplay action, I decided it wasn't for me.
When I look at a new game, I see the effort gone behind in creating it. And when I see comments like "Avoid this game!" ... It really cuts my heart ... seriously game development is the most underrated job in the world.
Don't be such haters. There is a huge gap in fantasy strategy gaming these days. @arshalmathers2, name 3 decent fantasy RTS's that came out the last 3 years. Since warcraft3 and a few clones that followed, and some LOTR games, this genre has been all but dead. I welcome anything that comes out to satify my thrist for slaying trolls and goblins.
I wanna buy it... but i cant find any gameplay videos if it! i can't find out how it plays, i think that means they have something to hide. pass
Nothing to distinguish this games from similar titles. ( Except maybe for narrator's voice! )
I like real time strategy games, so I'll say this game has potential, or I hope it turns it well.
... Do these people even know what Ragnarok actually is in mythology? (For those that don't, it means "The Fall of the Gods" in Norse Mythology)
In today's gaming world, why would you market a game and not show any game play? I love real time strategy games and I'm interested in this title but I'll have to avoid it because I don't know what to expect. Cyanide, replace your advertising team.
The top-down view looks good enough for me. Too bad the ones who made the trailer didn't realise the close-up perspective doesn't look at good. It worries me, with such an ignorant approach
Hmmm...I'm in two minds about this game. Personally I don't have a problem with the graphics - but there's not much gameplay shown in this video. I really want to see how the game plays. As always, I'll wait for some reviews, and a proper gameplay video on youtube before making a decision on whether to pick it up.
