The Crash Bandicoot francise is finally on PSP. Yes, this review should've been done long ago-my apologies-. Anyway, the graphics are respectable for a PSP UMD, but some of the car models look like they've been put together by a toddler group with lots of Playdoh. The game is quite deep, with an on-foot exploring mode rather than driving around in a little cart which can magically jump, which I personally hate. Strangely, the name suggests that the game is mainly, or dominated by car racing, but most of the game is exploring onfoot. Finding cash, more races, battling ninja penguins, and completing quests are some of the immense amonut o things to do in Crash Tag Team. You can be or beat your favorite characters on the racetrack. Characters like: Crash, Neocortex, Crunch, Coco, Nina and N-Gin. There are also two new, but not much less loved characters: Von Clutch and Pasadena. The story is quite corny, actually very corny but that's understandable for the single digit age who are playing. New and occasionally hilarious features are added, such as when you leave Crash standing for a while, he'll do some funny stuff like kicking a chicken which blows it up, farting with his armpit, etc. Lots of new costumes to get Crash into-diaper, spacesuit, Indiana Jones and many more- But my tied number 1 are the gags and Die-o-Ramas which is watching Crash (and others) being killed in hilarious situations. Now to knuckle down on the bad stuff. As I mentioned earlier, the cars look like rubbish. Now, the developer[s] knew that the loading times were disgusting, which is understandable; a UMD can only hold so much data, so what they've done is a stroke of genius. The O button makes Crash fart in 3 different ways, and X makes him burp, also in 3 different ways. The way Crash dies is garbage, especially when he jumps off a cliff- He freezes on the spot, the screen goes black, with only Crash visible, and he dances around holding his throat and then collapses. The screen goes back to normal, but the place you were before you jumped off the cliff. THE PENGUINS ARE HOSTILE FOR NOTHING! After putting the PSP to sleep for 5 min, then turning it back on, it freezes for what seems like an eternity, then gets back into play. To finish off, on a high note, the mini games. Some are annoying to me, and some aren't. I love the bowling, it's just so fun! And that's pretty much why so many people-including me-even put the UMD into their PSPs after completing 100% of it. The minigames. You may have a different opinion, and I respect that. But seriously, I don't give a damn! =]

Well in a way, tag-team racing is good, but in another way, it's a sad way to shame Crash and pals again....

Crash Tag Team Racing is a better version of Mario Kart: Double Dash, which satisfies anyone who likes racing games.
