I haven't played the original crysis but warhead was a great experience. Needless to say i was pumped for this title. While crysis 2 didn't disappoint it has some drawbacks which would be alright in some other game but not this:

Gameplay: It starts terribly 'cause the cell operatives are freaking retarted. The aliens do mix things up a bit but it never really feels balls-to-the-wall kind of action that u would associate with this series. Overall it's exciting in parts but with the same tactics over and over again it gets a bit mundane!

Story: While this may not seem much, at the start, the story is pretty unconventional once you think deep in it. The devs have attempted to make a non-living thing- the nanosuit, the hero of this game rather than any of the characters. There are no flashy cutscenes just briefing screens but the story was conveyed differently and pretty unconventionally.

Graphics: Good but the ps3 version does show some anti-aliasing issues occasionally.

The campaign lasted a good 8-10 hrs on soldier difficulty.
