If only it was directx9 like on the consoles. I guess crytek was too pissed at PC gamers for crysis 1..
Anyway i wont be buying due to poor performance issues.

If you're not buying it then stop wasting your time on these boards.

At the same settings, DX11 can perform better than DX9
They could included a similar setting to the console versions though

Get a better computer. I only have a 560Ti and I still get 40fps minimum at maximum settings with FXAA and no Motion Blur.

It's not directx 11 itself that lowers framerates. It's the specific new features introduced in directx 11 that requires more GPU power.

1920x1080 actually.
The game runs just fine as long as you aren't running Motion Blur or a ton of AA.
If you need proof, when I get home after work I'll figure out how to take screenshots with MSI Afterburner and post them.

yea, i run it without frame drop on very high (medium motion blur) with my GTX660

There might not be people on screen, but there are people being rendered inside the plane.
Trust me, that's the worst the performance gets.
And OH NO!!!!! How dare I round up 39fps to 40fps? That one frame per second MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD...

I'm just glad I don't have to use a garbage card like a 560ti to play this.

Utter BS. I have SLI 680s and with no Blur 4x TXAA, No Vysync, even my fps drop into the low 40s a fairly decent amount of the time. This is with the latest beta driver, too.

He ran it at 1080p, so it's possible.
p.s. I don't know what you're doing wrong, but a 690 can lock fps to 60 with txaa enabled. SLI 680 should be similar unless you're using a very high resolution.
