Let me start off by saying that I LOVE this game. This is the greatest time I had with the kinect in a while; not to say that there aren't good games for the add-on but, this is by far the best and I cannot wait until I get dance central 3.

Dance central 2 has somewhat of a story mode in which the first game lacked. Although, the story isn't really a STORY, more like cutscenes with the crew you'll be impressing. The plot is that you are trying to earn respect for all 5 crews and to earn that respect, you have to dance. I will not spoil the "funkarific" ending but the ending will make you chuckle a bit as well as exhaust you.

The gameplay is where this game truly shines. You dance to 30+ songs plus you can download more songs via dlc. I guarantee that this game will have more than enough songs for you to enjoy. When you're dancing, these cards pop up on the sides, each card tells you what dance move is coming next. You have to do these dance moves exactly the way it says how to on the card. The game has 3 modes before you dance: easy, medium and hard. On easy mode, there's only a few cards with a few dance moves making it easier for newcomers. On medium, that is stepped up a bit and on hard difficulty well... lets just say that you have to be really good at this game because hard mode is... hard... FUN but hard... but, if you keep practicing, you'll get the hang off most of the routines.

The sound and graphics are well done, the graphics wouldn't really matter if you care about substance more than style and trust me, this game has ALOT of substance. Dance central 2 is extremely replayable. try and get all 5 gold stars... get all the costumes... in speaking of costumes, there are a few cheat codes you can put in to unlock a character's old outfit from dance central.

If I really had to nitpick at the game, I would say that... THERE IS NO ONLINE MULTIPLAYER! sure, there is regular multiplayer but what if you have friends far away? maybe out of the state? dance central 3 is the same! No online multiplayer in any of them. When you have a game that was BUILT for having a good time, there is NO excuse for not having multiplayer.

God... but, that is the only complaint I have for these games. If you have a kinect then I strongly advise you buy this and if you don't to bust a move... quit being a f****ing **** and buy it! I mean, god forbid you have to MOVE. This is a fun game and you are missing out.

I give dance central 2 a 8.5.
