I find it very intriguing how when you find a VIP example: Pontius Pilate or Emperor Frederick II that you get info about them in life and why they were sent to that part of Hell. I actually find that's one of the coolest parts of the game.

Welcome to the 6th circle of hell...the devil's backyard...Heresy!
i can't wait to play this game in the dark with full surround sound with my girl looking like what the hell !?!
I'm curious to see what role morality choices play in this game. Normally you see that element in games with which you spend more time. As result you get to see the development of your player, the world and the effect of your choices on both. In a straight beat-em-up/action game though? I'd like to see how they pull this off.
I swear to you this music has the orchestral flair of Halo. Adds serious ambiance to an already cool looking game. Now imagine playing this game with that music, in the dark, trying to complete a circle of hell dreading what the next one will be like. The last time I had something like that happen to me was when I was playing Doom (original). I can't wait to get it...
Vicius_Deus agreed, and im not saying your wrong, just giving a valid reason why people who care would say something like that. on top of that, my comment wasn't even about that, it was about addressing your inaccurate comments on Christianity and Christians, which i found kind of offensive, not only for misrepresenting Christianity, but also judging and stereotyping them as a whole. my question is how do people like that ruin the gaming industry? there hasnt been a game thats been canceled because of the public since that airplane game around 9-11, and the only game that's been toned down since then because of the esbr, not the public is manhunt 2. retarded parents may cause people to think badly of the gaming industry, but in no way does it ruin the industry.
this game looks sick, no doubt, but that scythe looks kind of gaudy. Maybe they'll clean it up a little.
@Truthbetold101 Could you imagine if over 100,000 kids that were 5 and under watched and played this at there age along with other horrific things,... it influenced there day to day lives all through there lives negativly... oh wait, that allready happens with games like gta4 Those 5-year-olds shouldn't even have access to that game, it's irresponsible parents and others who ruin the gaming industry for the rest of us. Noone would have a reason to complain if people were smarter.
(PURE AWE) ... THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD...GOD OF WAR 3 HAS A CONTENDER. IF what we see here..is the actual gameplay...then YES. THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD...I just hope..the gameplay LASTS FOR A LONG TIME and most important..THE COMBAT MECHANIC better be as INTUITIVE as it is REACTIVE. STOKED.Nonetheless.
Holy crap that baby part was badass lmao xD Well, I'm an atheist.. but I am seriously excited for this game... I may not believe in the stuff, but I know the story behind each thing so Its interesting as hell to me. This is either going to be one of The Biggest games next year, or on of The Biggest let downs of the year. I Cannot Wait!
@punchultimate you are so right. they could have even just called it "dantes inferno Relived" or "revisited" Something that posses this more as a tribute may have made all the difference in opinions of the hardcore fans of the poem.
This has a story you care about unlike GoW. And I want this game so bad, EA is doing better with M rated now.
once again the reason this game has such a strong god of war style is because they brought they guy that worked on god of war to help design this game as well
@ wonzan No, these are the circles of Hell. Purgatory is treated in the second poem of the trilogy, the "Purgatorio."
I thought that the poem referred to these places as levels of purgatory? Not hell proper. Or am I mistaken?
This game will be so epic, everytime when a new layer is availabe it get's more and more interesting....
O my God I read same where that EA is cutting over 1,000 gobs closing seven studios and canceling one dozen game developments. I hope this game is not on the list to be axed because EA did not specify what game they are canceling or if not this game maybe this game is going over budget. Because this game looks amazing the graphics are awesome.
@dudu22 Well, it is not a christian game, but what u mean with subliminal content? Have you read the original poem? I was written by a christian man who depicts the travel of his soul from hell to heaven. It definately gives the christian point of view that most people had during the XVth century about hell.
@Crabs4sale it could still be Dante's inferno. it would just be someone else going through Dante's inferno. if you go into my house i would still call it my house even though someone else slaying demons in it. lol
this game looks awesome, but i think they should've made you play as some dude going through hell instead of dante alleghiri(sp?) because they might have received less criticism for that and since this dante is so different from the book's they could have changed the name and been fine.
Yeah! the game is a must-have one i dont think this is a christian game, though, and there may be lots of subliminal content too. nevertheless, a cool one!
I would like to know more about the saving and the damning of the souls. What famous people will you get to judge.
God damn this game looks more awesome every time I see it. Cant wait to get this, Darksiders and GoW3. :D
The visuals in this game look stunning. Visceral did a nice job with Dead Space Extraction. Looking forward to giving this a try.
ok honestly i don't care but if you have been watching all the updates for Dante's Inferno the game really is big time ripping off GOW ok yes the gameplay looks similar but who cares what i'm talking about is how Dante is suppose to be an a$$ kratos wasn't a good guy either.. also the artsy skits that tell the story are very similar to the ones in GOW their doing such a good job with the game though it's like who gives a f#ck i just wish they could add an idea of their own besides it being in hell and all the judging system is new though so thats cool
@Soapweed 360 is getting this and we had NG2 so it's all even besides GOW3 i'll be picking up a ps3 for gow3 though ;)
@ Se7en18sHiNoBi You know just because god of war might be the best hack an slash doesnt mean it should be the only good hack and slash. Im a fan of the game and the genre. I can still love god of war and still appreciate all the awesome things this game will have.
another damm hack n slash.defenetly CANT beat kratos.and defenetly not getting it.butttttt......the assistant producer is HOTTTTTTTT!!
