Awareness of Environmental Hazards in Enemy A.I. Not Improved

All the ladies below (mostly drawn by a certain awesome but, for better or worse, not-so-well known fan artist) are actual game characters, though not (necessarily) THAT kind of games if you are thinking about those.

It would appear that enemies in this edition of Dark Souls are still unaware of their surroundings.
For a game with a lot of its challenges being journeys through hazardous places, especially those with plenty of falling hazards, From Software does not seem to acknowledge that the monsters/adversaries that they have designed do not seem to realize the presence of said hazards.
