    I changed the resolution to something that wasn't supported probably and the screen turned black.

    Can I change the resolution without starting the game or do i have to do it by blindly navigating though menus?If so, any directions?....

    Nope. But I used my epic navigation skills (read: an unbelievable amount of luck) and fixed it.
