Is it possible to get back up to New Londo from the bonfire in the Abyss?

It'd be pretty handy to have it as an effective warp point is all, but I can't find a way to do it. Is it possible?

Nope, you can't. Just use the one from Darkroot Basin if you're farming the wraiths.

I just use Firelink as a warp point for darkwraith farming. Take the platform down, cross the bridge, drop off into the lower area, kill all the wraiths, then drop into the Abyss and warp back to Firelink. It probably takes a little longer but this way you don't have to dodge the drakes past the seal.

Okay I thought that might be the way to go if not, is it possible to sprint past the drakes or do you have to just take them out on the way?

It's not only possible, it's really easy, even with base Endurance.

This is the way I do it. I also found the drakes to be incredibly obnoxious, and risking getting shoved off the bridge by them wasn't appealing to me.
