Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition User Review

- The Bottom Line:
- "Total letdown"
I have been playing tons of RPG's ever since Morrowind and Neverwinternights, but this is clearly the worst of them all. The graphics are bas and gameplay is really old school compared with the other games that I have played in the last few months (Skyrim, darksiders 2 and Dishonored) What is most frustrating about Dark Souls 2 on top of this is that you die constantly and lose all progress. This results in endless retries of the same area within a level. The story sucks as well. In fact there is no story. The good old fashioned Dungeon Siege was more fun in it's days. What I really don't understand is how the Gamespot editor can review this game at a 9.5!
It's not even a 3.0. The Gamespot score was why I bought the game and that turned out to be a wrong purchase. So moving on to to Assassins Creed 3

Immensely imaginative, intensely immersive, but irksome and inaccessible, Dark Souls is a bit like heroin.

One of the best games ever played, Oldschool hard game not like nowadays games that you end in 1day.
