I'm on new game+. you have weapons, armor, and currency. but you lose all side quest progress, abilities, (deathgrip, redemption, etc) and quest items. (pages of the BOD, stonebites, gnoMAD gnomes) but you do get extra weapons and armor that you couldn't get before.

As far as I know, the armor and weapons that you've unlocked are carried over to the New Game Plus, along with your leveled up Death.
I'm European so I don't have the game yet, so I'm not sure about the levels, but the armor and weapons are definitely carried over. -
You keep all your weapons, level, and skill tree(points).
Everything else gets reset, story/side quests and gear(death grip, etc.).
