Is it pretty much always shoot on site?

Been playing for a couple weeks now. I mostly stick to the woods, watching everything. Many times I've seen people run into each other and start shooting right away....once I saw 3 guys meet 2 other guys and exchange goods, then a sniper fired and killed one of them, so they all shot each other.

It depends on who you see and what server you're on. I've made upwards of 5 friends on DayZ by simply not shooting them on site. We all talk on Skype now and stuff.

Rare instance though. I play with a group a people that I also first met in-game, but they were the most chilled people that you could ever come across....so I wouldn't really count on something like that happening.

Now that you mention it, I actually haven't been on DayZ in quite some time....too long really. But yeah, the bmrf servers are still the only ones that are in my favorites list on DayZ commander. If I see you on while I'm playing, I'll certainly group up with you guys. Are you still Ataxia in-game?

Anyway, I'll most likely be on tomorrow (today, depending on what time zone you're in).

Yeah, still Ataxia. We normally play past 9PM PST on server 3 or 4. We're near Pustoshka at the moment.
