Right from the beginning the game DayZ grabs the players attention and demands you to look inside yourself and find out what you are capable of. The zombies in game are hard alone or in packs, while the players may befriend you, or end you. The fight for survival includes searching for weapons, food and water, trying to repair vehicles to travel long distances faster, and ultimately, to live.
Over the course of play-through the player can immerse themselves in a large scale sandbox styled continent with up to 100 players a server (they are working to increase). Whether you choose to team up with a friend or group or play the whole time solo it is a unique experience.
Currently still in alpha the game has massed over 950,000 players to date and continues to grow. Feel free to join in on the action, but if you do please take the time to join to forums and make some suggestions or bug reports to overall help in the production of a final product
