Why must people shame openly sexual games like this?
- Jul 8, 2012 6:00 am GMT
Feels like as a male society is saying "It's bad that you like boobs and the female body". Why is it ok for women to read books like 50 shades of grey but it's wrong that I enjoy games like Lolipop chainsaw?
To me it seem like American society is misandric towards male sexuality. Anything that men find hot is deminized by the media. What sucks even more is you got other men shaming you for being open about it. Societ and feminist I think refuse to accept the fact that men are much more visual. I'm just tired of people shaming me for being male. I like BOOBS in games, get over it.

Somebody told you that to like boobs is bad, ovbiously they aren't right in the same way,and are gay if they are men.Truth is only a fact from the perspective of an individual. So nobody is right about what to like or dislike. To say people must like, dislike,do or don't do this and that is just a myth.Every single person is different from each other.Haven't played Lollipop chainsaw but nobody have right to say to you waht to play.Just ignore them, maybe you are taking so seriously their comments.
I don't know that word misandric maybe is misogy? But look that in that in a point you're right, looks like american society, not all have to say but it appears that some people don't like women in a sexual way but would preffer to dig them very deep. But's that too crazy for my way of thinking because everybody came from a women having sex.
Just live your life and let live if people don't like the way you think just ignore them and seach for people who think like you.

Is not bad that you like boobs or the female body, all the ppl came from a woman having sex, those ppl who say it so, are gay if male.Believe me same happens to me.Haven't played Lollipop but nobody have the right to say what to and not to play whatever in the sexual context or other topics.
American society and it's media are very...errr let's say different from other cultures.Just live your life and don't let other bother you.Search for ppl who think like you and don't let others tell you what's wrong or right.Perception of truth is subjet to the perpective of an individual. You can't never think for other ,thing that people tend to do,only suggest and let the person choose, but never have the right to judge.

Just to be clear here...
50 Shades of Grey is actually a decently written book that explores human struggle and interaction with their own sexuality and perversity.
Sexuality in Dead or Alive is simply a cheap gimmik and exploitation. The sexuality being there or not being there doesn't really substantially add or subtract from the game. It's simply there to cheaply arouse the most primal instinct in man to lure them to the game. That's it.
You are essentially comparing sex with pornography. It could be possible that perhaps you are at an age where the difference I just pointed out might not seem as poignant.
With that said, people who "shame" you for simply playing a sexualized video game needs to find something better to do with their time. There's nothing in this game that you should be shamed for.

Some indeed do, but DoA has always also been a solid fighting game.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

DoA might be a "solid fighter", but it's overshadowed by the fact that they do indeed rely on the girls to sell their copies. Statemnets like... "we studied breast physics" and "yes we will make games more sexualized because our fans want it" sort of speaks in evidence to that.

I really like that the game focuses on making the female sex equal to the male sex. Very few fighting games feature female protagonists, and here, the women have a high level of inner power. The problem is, the history of DOA has been overshadowed by the hyper sexualization of these characters.
Honestly, this series has had some of the best fighting mechanics in fighting game history, the multitier levels are amazing to play in, and graphicly, its astounding. Sadly even fans of the game series point out that the selling point is the female fanservice, when I play this game despite the fanservice and it overshadows the good in this game, as well as the use of portraying women to be a powerful species. So in the case of shaming games like this, I say its not that i do so, its more of a disapointment that in the past, the game hasnt been allowed to stand for itself without marketing some level of focus on better and stronger eye candy than previous games.
There is also a reason Dead or Alive Xtreme sereis has been critcially panned.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

[/QUOTE] Your post fails in so many ways, I don't even know how you can come to such a fail of a conclusion. First, the media and society encourages you to drool mindlessly over boobs and not women. Male sexuality is not about jerking off to pornography. Real men are disgusted by this type of "entertainment." Of course, you probably have the wrong idea about sexuality. Unfortunately, I can't properly explain to you what it truly is to be a man. Hint: It has nothing to do with masturbating to scantily clad on not clad at all women with elephantitis of the breasts or polygonal facsimiles thereof. If you'd care to read this: http://www.henrymakow.com/playboy-and-the-homosexual_re.html He can explain better just how flawed your conclusion are. You see, truly anti-feminists are against any type of pornography as feminism needs your infantile mindset to thrive. You are the one that wants to objectify and dehumanize women, so that they deem it necessary to run to the false ideals of femininity that feminism espouses. In fact, pornography (and this game is pornography) desexualizes sex, because it doesn't show what sex truly is.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
