how is it coming back to this game after DOA5

Ive been playing a lot of DOA5 but I just picked up a 3ds. Was thinking of grabbing this but I like how 5 plays and looks. Also considering SSF4 and BB. Hrm.

Try DoAD. I own SSF43D and DoAD but DoAD always seems to draw my attention. The online is somewhat alive, and all of the boss characters are playable in this game.

I personally prefer this game over DOA5, but considering how many online features it lacks(All you can do is random matchups; no lobbies; and friend matches), I always find myself being drawn to DOA5 instead.

I can't really play this game well anymore after playing DOA5. After you learn all of the new mechanics and combos for the characters, you tend to forget the old ones that once worked and use inputs that don't exist in this game.

I have been playing DOA5 Plus on the Vita but out of curiosity I went back to this.
I was messing around with comparing taunts and I noticed Akane's taunt is missing english voices for two of her taunts in this games. The Japanese ones are in tact. Other than that I thought I would come back and see awful graphics etc. but really the content in this one delivers still and the graphics aren't that bad. Free costumes and extra characters to boot. And some tag challenges.
Certainly a well made product although i know some will still gripe about the touch screen controls which doesnt really pose a threat anyways when playing online those users are pretty easy to defeat.

I like the gameplay of the 3DS one better, its faster and easier to control. The DOA5...it feels like the characters move a bit slower...like they are heavier...and i'm just playing as Eliot!
