Dead or Alive: Dimensions User Review
A beautiful and enjoyable fighter that I daresay blows Street Fighter IV out of the water.

- "Almost, but not quite"
I just can't review this game without mentioning Street Fighter IV for the 3DS. I was so excited for the latter and so disappointed after playing it. I began to think that a good fighting game for a handheld was just a dream. That is, until I played this.
Dead or Alive: DImensions is simply fantastic. The graphics are absolutely stunning. Backgrounds are lush and detailed, and character models are impressive and gorgeous. But not only is it beautiful, it's fun to play as well. The layout is very well-thought out, and although easy to get the hang of, it is not at all simple. As with any good fighter, strategy and foresight are required to be successful. Perhaps the only downside to this game's battles is that few people-at least in my area-play this game. It isn't very popular and thus you will probably be waiting a minute or two before fighting someone online. Other than that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
What makes this game even better than it already is is the slew of extras that it includes. As with SF, you earn figures of each character, however in this game you can take pictures with the gyroscopic camera, which, albeit unnecessary, is a nice break. Not to mention that the story mode is brilliant. Don't worry, it's not at all hard to follow if you pay attention. :)
This is a superb, stunning game that I would recommend to any fighting fan.

Dimensions is the best DoA game in a long time, but with some added features tailored to the DS it makes it great.

Like the last DOA, but with many things added. Plus the 3D and handheld capability is always nice
