It's better the second time around (beating it unlocks the original DS1 costume), but I have to say it's the weakest in the trilogy. The horror just isn't there. Every fight is predictable and laborious (necromorphs just keep coming and coming and it ceases to be scary or fun). It also features a crap ending. On the upside, there don't seem to be any glitches, the graphics are gorgeous, and the gameplay mechanics have hardly changed at all (you can dodge roll and take cover now). The new upgrade system is a bit more in-depth, and there are side-quests.
