Creepy crawlies invade this video review for Deadly Creatures.
Looks really awesome. I think I should get it...right? I just have a feeling that I am really going going to like it.
I could never play this lol im DEATHLY scared of spiders. the bigger the more terrified i get! scorpions tho i have no problems with.
I really want to try out this game! both, to encourage fresh ideas and to really get in the role of my beloved tarantula and scorpion :)
I didn't realize there was such a vast artistic desire to see these reviewers perform like actors or something you would see on TV or in Movies, i mean seriously these guys aren't trying to win any academy awards for their video reviews.. there just here to tell you the pros and cons of the game in question, i seriously can't understand this insatiable desire to see top quality acting from video game journalists.. Anyways the game is really good.
is it me or does the reviewer look like his eyes are a bit off...? and the way he talks sounds like he isn't very enthusiastic about games... anyways, I don't get what his deal is, sure the story isn't that good, but what can you do? Make insects talk and make it freaking childish?
omfg MORE GAMES LIKE THIS PLEASE playing as a tarantula or scorpion to kill and move around a cool looking environment? AWESOME.
This is a fantastic game, and a shining example of what the Wii is capable of, (and in my opinion deserves at least an 8.5). Developers really need to take notice at games like this and start focusing on more original IPs like this one; great job THQ.
yet another rather unique title for the wii, looks surprisingly fun, albeit creepy. The spider sections beat the hell outa the later spiderman games i bet :P the scorpion levels look to be like some sort of beat em up.
Addictive indeed, but the view make me dizzy even I am an FPS veteran ..... I'm vomit (for the first time ever) after played this game for too long .... I'm still thinking twice to play this game again ....
jeez lay off the guy, he wrote the written review and its part of his job to do the video as well. he clearly is a little camera shy but who cares, his reviews are good and thats the whole point. if your all coming to gamespot to see a man look exited and happy to be on camera then your the ones with problems. you should tune into the hotspot radio show and hear mcshea on there, hes great when theres not a camera awkwardly in his face
This game rocks, I got it yesterday and I'm already halfway through, though only because I was spacing it out. XD The game is short, but fun, the camera with limited controls actually works for the game, the combat controls are nice, but some combat moves just don't get used unfortunately, also for the most part battling with the spider means just swinging the remote from side to side to do a spin attack, however, later on the combat with the spider becomes more evolved. What I really like are finishing sequences, particularly when I go against lizards! Turn them on their side, pry open their mouth, jab a stinger in it, then flip 'em right side up and break their jaw. Ah, I prolonged one battle just so I could do that a few times... I've only noticed this once so far, but I'm sure it will happen more, where the two dudes actually have some humorous dialogue, I'm not going to say what it is, just listen for it, in I believe chapter five.
This is the first video review I've ever watched and it's painful. his speech is halted, especially around the 1 minute mark. The guy reading the review also has a deer in the headlights look anytime the camera is on him. In addition, there's no personality. You might as well have Microsoft SAM read the article to gameplay footage. Are they all this awful to watch?
The reviewer had the right voice, but I couldnt get over his facial expressions. You're reviewing video games for a living, no taking calculus!
