I got the original Deadly Premonition on 360 as a gift, but have literally never played it. Instead of playing through the same game twice, should I just get rid of the original and wait for this? Will this be the definitive version of Deadly Premonition?

A while ago I would have said "not worth it, you'd get almost nothing," but the game has substantially gone up in price (~$70 new) and become a semi-collector's item since going out of print and gaining wider recognition.

It's your call. I'd personally like having them both up on the shelf, and it would be fun to pull down the old version after playing the DC to compare them.

It depends. I am interested in the PS3 version for the fixed controls, but if they update the graphics and add a bunch of other stuff to make the game more current, then I am out.

Is your original copy still unopened? It's a rare find now.

Ha ha ha! Yes, it pretty much is, and it is not a rare find. The game was released for $19.99. Anyone that has had it this long and has not played it, should not even be in this topic really. Oooh now you want to play the Director's cut. Dude, the Director's Cut of Fatal Frame II is pretty much the same game. I have both. The graphics are slightly improved, but not much else.

I bet the driving has not been improved. It would make the driving to missions mini game more fun if it was improved. You don't have to play the driving game , if you don't want to.

    $39.99? Ha ha ha ha!
