It is a game of unique genre and I for one have not seen many games in this unique genre this aspect in itself is another plus point for it making it unique. The atmosphere is great, the RPG elements are great, the inventory along with weapons and its customization is fun to use, the weapons are fun, the augmentations are fun to use & are very interesting, the ways in which you can approach an objective is the thing about this game which i liked the most you can approach an objective in tons of different ways. The only thing weak is the graphics though the excellent atmosphere more than makes up for it besides who cares about graphics when you can get a game which is as diverse as this a gives you a complete bang for your buck.
his is one of the few games that gives you a choice. Shoot a guard or simply avoid him by finding an alternative way. Disable a security camera by shooting it or hack it's control terminal to disable all security systems. Feel free to create your own way by exploring or reaching secret places by moving objects (big and small ones).
Soundtrack is awesome, just close your eyes and feel how it fits with the setting.

A good espionnage game that brings back some good old Splinter Cell souvenirs.

Deus Ex does many things right but some significant shortfalls keep it from living up to its predecessor.
